"It seems that you've been living two lives. One life, you're Frodo Baggins, son of Drogo Baggins. You live at Bag End, the Hill and you... used to live with Bilbo Baggins. The other life is lived in disguise, where you go by the alias "Underhill" and are carrying the One Ring. One of these lives has a future, and one of them does not. Mr. Frodo. We're willing to wipe the slate clean. Give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation in destroying the ring of power."
Oh, now I know why Elves and Dwarves don't get along:
"I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time in Arda. It came to me when I tried to classify your species, the dwarves, and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on Middle Earth instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you dwarves do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on Middle Earth that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Dwarves are a disease, a cancer of this Middle Earth. You're a plague, and we, are the cure."
"Never send a dwarf to do an Elves job."
XD lmao I just almost coughed up a lung from laughing so hard xD

The Pageant:
http://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1389457Anybody up to hosting a beginners quiz (movie only questions)?
I think we may have to use a new system for this. Say, one person asks a movie based question and they give a pet to the person who answers correctly. Then the person who won asks another question and so gifts the person who answers correctly and so on and so forth.
Also, I need someone who has read more than just LotR, and who has also seen the movies, to make an expert quiz. I have only read LotR and the Hobbit, but I haven't read the likes of the Silmarillion. Or would it be best if we only limit it to LotR, The Hobbit and the movies? I mean, how many people on CS will have read the Silmarillion or the Children of Húrin?

Sam, may I suggest combining your knowledge with someone who has read the Silmarillion? This way, you will have more than one mind working at this task. Therefore, more input on whether the facts are correct, which questions are too easy or too hard, and likewise.
