.Rune Dragon's Name.
Iggy
This name seems so short and sweet, and seems to suit this cute little guy.
.Gender.
Male
.Would you like to breed him?.
Yes! He would have cute little aquatic babies with Nymphaea.
.Why do I want him?.
He is so flipping adorable, that's why! He looks so cute and huggable, I just want to squeeze him. He just seems like a goofball and would be fun to have around. He would fit in perfectly with my little awkward family, given that two others are just as hyper. He is adorable, and I absolutely fell in love with his goofy little smile and those brilliant blue eyes. I was going to wait for either customs to open or even a more darker Rune to come out so I could balance out my little group, but as soon as I saw him, I just adored him. Even though he does not have an evil bone in his scaley body, he will be loved and accepted into my family of Runes. Besides, I hate bugs and he can help keep them away from me.
.What will you do with him?.
He will inhabit my signature, at least for a while. I will draw pictures of him along with all of my other Runes. He will probably make an appearance in future Rune dragon forms. He will definitely be loved and not forgotten.

.In General.
Iggy is kind of a laid back, happy go lucky Rune. He loves nothing more than to relax in the sunshine and soak up the rays. He hardly ever seems bothered by anything even the little pester, Fizzle, doesn't even mess with his mood. He has an amiable personalty, and is kind to everyone.
Iggy is a real sweetheart. He loves to cuddle, and anytime I sit down, he is immediately in my lap. When he isn't snuggled with me, he is with Nymphaea. He seems to have a serious crush on the Utpala Rune, and I will often find them playing outside or snuggled together on a cushion of some sort. Iggy isn't just kind to Nymphaea, he will also play around with Fizzle, and keep Grimald company when he has to keep watch at night. The only one I will not find him near is Mephis. Iggy seems to not enjoy the Ancient's presence.
Iggy can be a bit of a mischief maker. He will often team up with Nymph and Fizzle to get into some trouble or another. You have to keep a close eye on the trio, of something always seems to wind up broken. When Iggy isn't with the others, he can get into a fine bit of trouble by himself. His natural curiosity makes him wonder into the most interesting of places. He seems to love to crawl under anything or inspect anything that is new.
.Likes.
Iggy, of course, loves bugs of all types but his favorite has to be dragonflies. He likes the challenge of catching the fast insects, and you will often find him zipping about after the speedy bugs. It's quite amusing to watch his triumphant face light up each time he manages to catch one. Iggy's favorite time of the day is midday. He loves the warmth of the sun and this is the time he can find some of his favorite bugs.
.Dislikes.
Iggy really does not like Mephistopheles. Every time the powerful Ancient comes into the picture, Iggy will stick his tongue out and grumble his distaste. Sometime I will catch him trying to pull pranks on Mephis, but most of the time, Iggy just ignores the bigger creature. Iggy is also not a fan of the cold. It makes him sluggish and sleepy. When it starts to get cold, you will find him snuggled in my lap or in front of the fireplace with Nymphaea and Fizzle.

For such an laid-back and sweet Rune, Iggy did not really have such a happy past. As I watch him, curled up and sleeping silently in my lap, I recount how exactly I found this kind little Rune...

Summer was coming to an end. The morning was cool, but much more bearable then the usual summer heat. Despite the brisk morning, the town was already bustling. As I walked the streets, the residents were rushing to finish their daily chores and errands. Mothers and wives wondered about the market, trying to find a deal for their food for the day. Kids were running underfoot, or chasing after dogs. The vendors were calling their wares, trying to catch the attention of any and all passer byes in an attempt to out sell their competition. In all, it was a very loud and almost chaotic morning.
Fizzle, the most hyper of the group, was happily bouncing on my shoulders and seemed to be reveling in all the noise. His sparkler was waving wildly and he was chirping along with all the noise. He kept leaning over, trying to smell at any type of food we passed by. More then one, I had to catch him before he fell into some woman's basket or stop him before he cannonballed into a pie. Taking him along was definitely eventful, and not exactly one of my best ideas.
It was thanks to Fizzle, however, that I managed to find the wretched creature that was Iggy. He had hopped off of my shoulder, evidently tired of my slow pace and he shot through the streets, his wings spread and his tail waving wildly. With a cry, I gave chase. I said quick pardons as I weaved through clusters of people, desperately trying to keep my little Rune in my sights. I was desperately hoping no one would step on him or he fell into some sort of trouble. My blood turned to ice when his panicked high pitch squeal reached my ears.
Someone had caught him. It was a tall man, grizzly and unkempt. His clothes seemed to be patched and threadbare, and his eyes sparkled happily as he held my squirming rune. He didn't seem too bothered when I stepped forward, demanding for him to put Fizzle down. I was outraged when he said he had found him, said he wasn't going to give him back unless I bought him at an alarmingly high price. I clenched my fists in anger, and for a few minutes I could sense Mephis pressing at my mind, desperate to unleash his power.
I backed away, my eyes narrowing, and the man smiled triumphantly. He started to walk down an alley way, Fizzle whimpering and thrashing in his hands. I slowly counted to ten and then followed, careful to stick to the shadows.
It was a twisting and dark alley, several times I thought I had lost him, but Fizzle's cry would always lead me back to him. He finally stopped, he was talking to some other man. This one didn't seem as homeless as the other one, almost the complete opposite, but his eyes just seemed to glimmer evilly. He took Fizzle from the grizzled man and handed him something return, I hid in the shadows as the grizzled man took off again down the alley.
The cleaner, much younger man put Fizzle in a cage, and immediately the little Rune curled into a corner, whimpering softly. His sparkler was snuggled close to his chest. The man disappeared into building and that's when I made my move.
As I got close, Fizzle immediately perked up, his sparkler lighting up in happiness. It illuminated the cage enough, and curled in the other corner was the skinniest, dirtiest, Runes I had ever seen. He was shivering, but despite all of this, he wagged his tail as I got close. I deftly picked the lock and Fizzle scampered up my arm and nuzzled the back of my neck. I frowned at the scrawny rune, unsure of what to do. Would he even live? Would he be hostile as soon as I picked him up? When the door the man had disappeared into started to open, I quickly scooped up the Rune and ran.

Iggy has stayed with us since then. He had gained a considerable amount of weight, and I have a lot less bugs in my yard. His eyes have brightened and he flutters about happily now. He seems to get along well enough with my other Runes. I even find him snuggled with Nymph from time to time, both enjoying the warmth the rest of summer has to give.

Drew him in a new style. ^^
