"Where the mist parts, and a strange new adventure unfolds..."

~~~ Welcome to Fasheea Adopts! ~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~*~.:Rules:.~*~
#1. Please, do not attempt to steal a Fashee that hasn't chosen you. There will be consequences.
#2. No trash talking or claiming to be the "creator" of the island or it's inhabitants. They will eat you.
#3. If you can't seem to claim the heart of any beast you've come across, don't complain, or you will be warned.
#4. If you no longer wish to own your Fasheea, please let Gos know and she'll return it/them to their home for another chance.
#5. You can only own up to 5 Fasheea at a time. Any more than that and you'd be a Fasheea hoarder. :U
#6. Fasheea are not Fursonas, nor can they be the mate of your Fursona. B| They are characters. c: <3
#7. Asking for a custom pet will result in a one week ban from adopting.
#8. The repeated violation of any of the rules above will lead to a permanent ban.
#9. Dun't feed dem after midnight.... OnO
Give a warm welcome to our new Mini-Mod, Katniss Odair!!!
She'll be helping me manage the thread from now on, so pay close attention to what she has to say. ;D~*~.:Banned List:.~*~
None Yet.
Hey all! <3
I can't wait to get this up and running, and as if right now, I'm gonna start rotating in new, adoptable designs with the transfers! c: That way some of the growing demand can be satiated, and they can spread over CS! >:D Anyway, I'll be revamping the old adoption thread and turning it into the place where the main story-line goes! o3o Some of you probably noticed it's absence, but I thought removing it from the main adoption thread might clear up some space and, you know, make it look less intimidating as a whole. xD
Enjoy!
~*~.:Thy Sacred Custom Spot:.~*~
That Bloody Cat ~ You get a custom for being Fasheea's very first adopter and fan!
HornedDragon ~ You get a custom in exchange for your Warrior Fasheea order, since those are no longer in commission.
Katniss Odair ~ You get a custom for being my Mini-Mod. c:

~*~.:How to Adopt:.~*~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finally! The long awaited Adoption Post! 8D
So, as of late, I have decided that a more versatile form for each design is more effective.
Below is a preview of what to expect a form to look like (and what to do):
("*" Marks a required field.)
___________________________________________
*Username: (>Insert Your Username Here.<)
*Name: (>Name the Fasheea.<)
*Gender: (>Is the Fasheea Male, or Female?<)
*Size: (>Is the Fasheea Large, Medium, or Small? <)
*Variety: (>I'll have already added this.<)
*Personality: (>Tell me what the Fasheea is like as an individual.<)
*History: (>The Fasheea's life. Everything it's been through. Go wild.<)
Story: (>Optional Boost. Write a story, any length, about the Fasheea.<)
Poetry: (>Optional Boost. Write me a ryhming poem about the Fasheea.<)
Art: (>Optional Boost. Draw 1 picture of the Fasheea, any format, but preferably not anthro.<)
___________________________________________
See? There's a category for every adopter!
Just hang around, stalk a little, plan your next attack,
and eventually that perfect Fasheea will come along! ;D
~*~.:Rules:.~*~
#1. Please, don't bestow your creatures with demeaning names. X3 Make it a name that you would have.
#2. All entries will be judged on creativity, quality, and effort. OuO Show me how much you want it. <3
#3. All required fields of your form must be filled out by judging day. If not, it won't count.
#4. Post your form knowledgeably. The fact sheet has everything that you need to know, and I'll know if you didn't read it. B8
#5. Do not Power-Play any preexisting creatures for stories except for the one you're trying for and those you already own.
#6. As long as all the info is there, decorate your form as much as you like. It shows me you're serious about the adoption. :3
#7. Do not order art for your entry. O_O It wouldn't be fair to those who made their own. c;
~*~.:About the Creatures:.~*~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~*~.:The Fasheea: A Closer Look:.~*~
PhysicalFasheea are an interesting species when it comes to their physical characteristics. To stay warm, as well as cool, a Fasheea is covered in a thin layer of satiny fur similar to that of a seals, which seems to keep them comfortable throughout the entire year, even in water. They have a small, pointy horn on their head, which is a dangerous weapon when used as a spear. However, for added strength, this valuable weapon is a hard casing over bone, not a bone itself. They also posses small fangs, which when needed, can secrete a potentially deadly venom {For more on this, see "Venom"}. Their eyes are large, like a cat's, and the pupils have been known to give off a faint, to sometimes breathtakingly powerful glow. Little is know about why their eyes do this, as well as why some creatures lack it, but it may have something to do with each creatures individual psychic ability. Some even say it helps them see better. Another peculiar trait of the animals are their toes. They only have 2 toes per foot, a thick webbing between each pair. Made for the water perhaps? You bet. This webbing comes complete with a matching set of gills, as well as a medium length sail fin that runs from the back of their skull, all the way to where their tail fin begins. This tail fin, as one might guess just by closely examining any specimen, is just as thickly built as the webbing and sail, and continues well beyond the skeletal tail's ending. And we move on to it's sense of hearing. Just because you can't see the ears doesn't mean they aren't there! Just beneath their soft, satiny fur, is a Fasheea's ears. They aren't very large, and are located at the sides of the head right where the jaw connects to the skull, but their hearing is impeccable none the less, as well as their senses of smell and taste.SizeFasheea are normally seen in a fairly strict size range. On average, they're the size of your average built house cat. Though let me go into just a little more detail on the subject. I'd say the best way to measure a Fasheea would be in inches to the withers, since they aren't tall enough to be measured in feet, or even "hands" like a horse. Get out your measuring tape and have a look. The tallest Fash you will ever see won't breach the 13 inch mark, while your smallest specimen won't have dropped below 8 inches. As a general rule, your larger animals will run from 12 to 13 inches, while the next size down is set at 10 to 11. The very smallest size is between 8 and 9 inches.VarietiesMore on this topic coming soon. ;D AbilityNow let's take a closer look at what Fashee are capable of. They have very powerful hind legs. In fact, they can jump as far as 6 feet straight into the air, which plays a large roll in their ability to fly. Yes, I said fly. When they take to the air, they spring forward and up with all their might, the wings unfurling and seeming to float out to the side of their head as they slowly rise into the atmosphere. It's quite entrancing to watch, though it's highly doubtful that the wings themselves actually hold up the creature they belong to. It's all in the animals psychic strength, though the wings must be unfurled and in action before the Fashee can lift off. The species is also known for it's baffling magical abilities, especially in the realm of Kaina (their origin), so remember that before you choose one as a companion. They don't tend to show off very often, but certain creatures have certain abilities that to this day remain a mystery to man. Most creatures, for instance, are prone to such practices as levitation (through flight), healing, and harmless environmental manipulation. Every Fasheea in known existence has this sort of potential. However, some can go as far as ignite a burning blaze, deliver a charged zap of electricity, frost the ground at their feet, or predict the future. The possibilities are endless. VenomBeware the prick of Fasheea fangs, for if you're on their list, it's a pain you won't be forgetting anytime soon. These bites are excruciatingly painful without fail, and will usually drop their attacker in a little under 2 minutes, though that depends a lot on the enemy's pain thresh-hold. However, if you do manage to get bitten, don't panic, as its not deadly to humans. Plus they're only venomous when they need to be, as a defense mechanism. So, little Aster can happily nip your fingers all day with no permanent damage. Though it is rumored that there are select specimens out there who can give a lethal bite, so always treat a feral with caution.BehaviorFasheea are very active, playful little sprites as a normal rule, but always keep in mind that each Fasheea is unique. One Fasheea may be eager to please and covered in mud, while another shyly stands back to watch the proceedings as it nervously cleans it's claws, so they vary a lot in that matter. Just like people. However, though they most definitely are not people, they're far from being your average animal. You may have noticed that when you speak to them, they turn to listen? That's because they understand, of course! They understand human speech as clear as a bell, but cannot produce it themselves, so they communicate through hisses, shrieks, and purrs. So be very careful what you say around them. They also have very interesting vocals, falling somewhere between a house cat and a ferret, so don't be too alarmed the very first time you hear one!

~*~.:Breeding:.~*~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before I lay down some rules, I'll give a little incite on Fasheea breeding patterns. Fasheea, like swans, mate for life. Once they choose a mate, they will never choose another, even if their partner is lost to them in some way. Keep this in mind at all times, and choose your Fasheea's mate wisely. However, they always have two offspring at a time. The Fea, or youngsters, are born a male and a female, with there only ever being same sex siblings on rare occasions. Little is known about why this is so, but experts believe that it has something to do with how limited in number the animals really are. Fea, like most baby animals, are usually a mixture of their parents, although it's not impossible to see a grandparent, or great grandparent's trait manifest upon occasion. Gestation usually only takes a mere 4 months, but the young can't be categorized as "mature" until they're a full year old. This is usually when they're old enough to breed, but it can take them years just to find the right mate.
Okay, now down to business. >:3
To breed 2 Fasheea, they don't have to both be yours anymore. As long as you have the approval of the other party, can prove it to me, and have two animals of opposite gender, you can breed. Since both of you will receive a Fea, both users requesting the breeding will have to pay. No "Third Party" breedings. All breedings will cost 4 wishlist pets (2 WLPs per Fea), though if you don't have anything that you're willing to part with, we can try to work something out. Slots will open about 20 minutes after I say they will, since I'll give out a warning, but be quick. I'll only open 5 Slots at a time, so if you don't get a spot, you'll have to wait for the next round. I don't want to see anybody editing posts to get a slot either. And absolutely No Post Edits once you've posted your form, all edited forms will be void. I will need payment from both users before I start their breeding, though I will leave it set until the order is complete. c:- Code: Select all
