One day Da-Xia was taking a stroll through the woods where she saw a wolf called Ghost. His name suited him because she blinked when she saw him.

She kept on walking. She suddenly, was tied up and dragged. She looked behind her and saw Ghost. "Where are you taking me? And why do you look like that?" she asked. Ghost grinned. "You'll see." He grinned again.

A few hours later it was dark. She was scared. She didn't like the dark much. She was dropped by Ghost and he started walking over to the most peculiar wolf. She blinked, wondering if this was a dream. She could hear voices in the distance.

"Did you get her?" A voice said.
"Why yes. She looks like a valiant fighter."
"Good. Bring her over then."

She was dragged by Ghost to the very peculiar wolf. She stared and stammered "Who are you and where am I?" The wolf laughed. "Why you are in the lost valley of Hyentopia." sniggered the wolf "And my name is Vulcan. My right hand man is Mecha."

"Ghost here is in charge of recruiting other wolves into Hyentopia." Vulcan said. "Would you like to meet the locals of Hyentopia? Yes? Well then, here they are: Mechaniser, Mudbud, Yin, Nionden, and Splitz.

"And don't forget Duet, Cappella, Pilikea, and Xina." Vulcan said.

"There." Vulcan coughs. "There are alot of wolves in Hyentopia, and I'm sure you're dying to meet them." Then a bell rang. "Oh. It's time to go to bed. Mecha will show you your Korak. A Korak is a small house in which the new arrivals sleep in. Duet and Cappella control the unit there, and will catch anyone trying to escape. I will go to my Iswor, which is where I live and sleep in. Everyone else will go into their Chayts."

The next day...

Da-Xia was woken up by Mecha. "Rise and shine, new arrival!" Da-Xia got up. She left her Korak with Mecha showing her around. She was looking around, not really paying attention to Mecha. She then saw the most beautiful wolf she had ever seen. She walked away from Mecha and said "Hello my name is Da-Xia. I came here yesterday night. Who are you?" Da-Xia said. Albion blinked. In front of him was the most beautiful wolf he had ever seen. He stammerd "My name is Albion and I came here a few weeks ago. I-" He couldn't finish his sentence. Da-Xia knew what he wanted to say. "Albion" she said "I love you too."

Blue October Moon & Nutpie
- Yes, dog and cat

They met when family, which had a dog, October, took a new pet, a cat.
Nutpie was very shy at the beginning but had little crush on October.
When she saw October at the backyard in the night, saw how his blue fur was shining under the moon, her eyes started to glow that same colour.
October noticed the way Nutpie looked at him all the time, but didn't go for it. "What is going on in that cat's mind" he asked himself. "Dog and cat? The most impossible thing I've ever thought about." But deep in his heart, he felt something. And that wasn't anything bad.
Well, then October started to answer to Nutpie's gazes. She was in cloud nine.
One day, when October was sitting on the night grass again, Nutpie took heart and went and sat next to him.
October turned around, looked at her warmly and said: "Please come with me."
And so they went for a nightly stroll, together. Since then, they have always been.

I don't know why but I adore this pairing

Lavender was sitting cosy next to the blazing orange fire. The carpet felt rough, but nice. Lavender heard her owners pour the food into her bowl. She stood up, yawning and stretching, and walked over to her bowl. After she ate she walked outside through the cat door. The mud under her tree had dried. Thank goodness. Now I don't have to sit on that fence. She jumped up the trunk, her claws digging into the smooth, slick bark. When she was on her favorite branch, she sat down, looking out into the other yards. A flash of white fur zoomed past her view. "Who's there?" Lavender dashed back inside, not worried about the leaves in her fur.

Aristma wandered along the fence. Running away isn't as I thought. It's great, not having to be cooped up in a house or wear itchy collars. He wandered on several more minutes, soon he saw a pretty creamy cat with brown spots. Hmm.. She has no collar. She must be running away as well. Aristma dashed next to the tree she was on. He was about to answer her as she asked who was here, but she dashed inside. Hmph. A house cat without a collar. She was pretty though.. I think i'll stick around. He climbed to the branch she was sitting on and slept.

Lavender woke with a start, frightened by her dream. She walked off the bed and headed outside. She glanced at her food, still some left. "I'll have some later." she mumbled to herself. She climbed her tree, but when she was at the branch, she saw a handsome white cat with black markings. "Hi, my names Lavender. What's yours?" He woke with a jolt, looking up at her. "Oh, it's Aristma. Hey, I saw you last night. You were up here, on this branch." Lavender stared at him. "You were what I saw last night." He sat up, gazing at his paws. "Um... Would you.... Like to be...." "Be what?" He looked up to her. "Be.. My mate..?" Lavender stared at him, shocked. "O-Ok." He nuzzled her cheek, clearly happy. "Would you like to run away with me? I'm aready running." Lavender hopped off her branch, but not in her yard. "Well, what're you waiting for?" He hopped down, curling his tail with hers, as they walked off, a couple forever.

Since we're doing dogs and cats, I thought I might share mine. ^^
The story {which really isn't too long this time} is told from Siol's point of view- and he's a little... mad. Not insane, merely mad. So the writing style is a tad different than normal, but it's really rather fun. |D

Today I sit upon my throne, watching the blizzard swirl past us like a tornado. We're in the eye of it- of course we are, we always have been- and it is warm here. Concentrated sunlight beams upon the ground, and yes, it's warm. Very warm. That's why my plants grow, why my water is not frozen, why the Yggdrasil- my Yggdrasil- thrives. That is where my throne is, carved into the bark of my Yggdrasil, surrounded by my green grass and happy servants. It is where I sit today, watching the blizzard swirl around my country. Around and around and around, though we cannot hear the wind. It's too peaceful here for the violent wind, and that is why we do not hear it.

Mine, mine, mine... Everything here is mine. Mine and the Yggdrasil's; for it controls me, though it is kind and not mad. Or maybe it is. Aren't we all?
At least I am. A king must be mad- a sane man could never govern mad men. That is why all kings, all leaders, are mad, you see. But my kingdom {old kingdom, for this one is loyal. Is mine.} did not know this, did not believe it, and that is why they cast me out. Out, out, out and about. My only crown is made of twigs, now, branches of the Yggdrasil. But I was right all along, and now I know the secret.

Ah, but not even mad men can rule you, can they? My dear Columba... You where not one of my old servants, my old men, lost and abandoned with their king, but yet you live out there. Out there, not in here with the sun. Why? Are there others who live in the snow- live like you? Do they look like you, covered in head to toe in furs, pelts of slain animals, with such pale skin and such bright eyes? You must be mad. No sane man could have eyes as brilliant as those.
You have weapons, armor, carved out of ice that has melded to your skin and yet, you are not cruel. You are still innocent, still happy. You should live here. I want to know more about you.

But still, you never come inside. The sun would melt your armor, you know; and you could live without worry, for I would protect you. Not that there's any danger. It is paradise here. But you stay outside, bringing us meat that we do not need- can you not see that Yggdrasil provides for us? Yet when I tell you this, you simply smile and shake your head, the beads in your wild braided hair going click-clack, and say that the meat is a gift. A gift that my Yggdrasil cannot give, for it only gives us plants and fruits. The meat is always sweet, though I'd prefer for you to stay inside and eat with us. For you to enjoy the warmth of the fires at night, and the feel of a soft leafy bed to sleep in.
I want to know more about you.

Today I sit on my throne and watch the blizzard swirl past, watch my servants go about their lives, and think of when you'll be back.

++It's sort of a broken love story. A story of how they loved and fell apart because of "secrets". Only denial kept them together until they crumbled. They still are in love, but they realize it will never be the same and they can never be together because of what pulled them apart. T-T++
