Liam had endured the ceremony, mainly by plastering on a fake smile when somebody that he didn't like won an award and clapping appropriately. Bored, Liam played with his tie, looking for someone to talk to.

Miley Cyrus

Miley was quite proud of herself for making it through the awards ceremony without causing a new scandal to form or a wardrobe malfunction. Glancing around, Miley could see Harry Styles talking to Jennifer Lawrence, but decided not to waste her time with them. Instead, she looked around for the other One Direction members, particularly Louis Tomlinson.

Louis lingered at the punch bowl.

Miley finally spotted Louis near the punch bowl. For once, the star decided to take a subtle approach. Strutting over to the refreshment table, Miley reached for a cup and ladled some punch for herself, making sure to 'accidentaly' brush against Louis's arm as she did so. "Oh! I'm sorry!"

"Oh your fine. Not like you killed me." Louis smiled cheekily.

Miley chuckled. "That would be a shame if I had; you just won one of the MTV awards." Miley took a small sip of her punch.

[khaleesi,]

"No. One Direction did." Louis giggled.

Miley rolled her eyes. "Same difference," she chuckled, taking another sip of punch. Softly, Miley added, "At least you won something." It was true; the former Hannah Montana star had, in fact, gone home empty-handed. It was impossible to hide the slight pang of jealousy she had felt as the winner of every award was summoned to receive their prizes. To be completely honest, Miley had been jealous of all of One Direction except for Louis. Who could be jealous of Louis? He had been so genuinely excited when One Direction was called. Not to mention the fact that Miley had more than a slight crush on him.

Harry chuckled and nodded his head in slight agreement. "Good, I don't know how long I would be able to be near her," he said thoughtfully. "She....is just...weird and a loon," he added.

"Yes she is." Jennifer replied.

Louis smiled. "Everyone wins if they were at least nominated."

Harry chuckled as he looked around. "So what should we do after that...scrabble?" he asked her as he concentrated on the ground.
