Veiled by a Song: PM to Join (Fox RP)

Ryuu stared after them, his gaze was ice-cold, he had never trusted Creo, but Flare was another story. Shaking his head, he looked solemnly at Soul.

Phantom laid curled up, asleep in the hunters' den. He moved a paw or two, sometimes even waking up. Phantom woke up when a fly landed on his nose. "Achoo!" He sneezed. and the fly flew away. "Bugs,"

Hope was scared to sleep, what if she had a demon dream? It 'twas possible. She gazed at the sky longly, for no reason at all.

[Calypso Sky]

((TOI, the hunters and warriors sleep together ))

Soul padded up to Ryuu and placed his tail on his shoulder. "Thanks for coming," he said quietly, "What a loss to the leash... Now let's go home. Shiko will probably need to treat these wounds again"

Phantom's sneeze woke Raven up. "Bless you," she said. The black fox looked over at Leaf Fall before getting up and walking out of the den. Sighing, she stretched in the sun and wondered where everyone was. Her stomach grumbled and she realized that the leash needed food. She padded over to Apollo and asked him, "Will you accompany Flare and I to go hunting if Soul lets us?"

Apollo turned to Raven. "Of course," he replied, nodding. After quickly washing the dirt from his fur, Apollo was ready to leave.

Ryuu nodded and walked back to camp with Soul. "Are you assigning a new second in command warrior?" he ventured.

[Calypso Sky]

Soul glanced at Ryuu, pain showing in his eyes. "I have to," he replied, "Even if Creo came back, there's no way he'd resume his position as SIC. I couldn't let that monster even have a chance of leading the leash. I know you've been eyeing the position for a while now Ryuu, and so far you're the best candidate: I need someone I can trust. The only thing against you is your lack of connection with some of the others. Creo didn't have that, but I'm starting to think that it's a good trait to have. Look at how well Leaf Fall is with the others..." Soul shook his head when he realized how much he was rambling, the departure of the two brothers had shaken him up. He half-smiled and looked back at Ryuu, "The position is yours if you'll agree to be a bit more social"

"I'd be honored to take the position." Ryuu dipped his head to Soul. "I will try to be more social..." he trailed off, they had reached camp. He waited for Soul to enter first.

"Thank you." Phantom thanked and laid back down, but was curious of what was happening outside the den. He stood up, lifting his head and peaking out the den.

Hope laid, not moving a paw. She blinked and rubbed her eyes.

Soul nodded to Ryuu, the only positive thing from this ordeal was the new SIC position. The leader entered the camp quietly and padded over to Shiko's den, hoping she'd treat his wounds slowly as Soul was not looking forward to telling the other foxes his grim news.

Shiko made an annoyed noise as she saw that Soul had reopened his wounds. She grabbed her herbs and set them down beside Soul. "What the heck were you doing?" she asked, annoyed, as she dusted his wounds with primrose pollen. She then chewed up a poultice of mint and daisy and smeared it on his wounds. Then, she threaded a nettle thorn with a slim, dry vine and shoved it roughly into his skin. She was going to stitch it up extra-tight so it didn't come undone later.

Ryuu sat down in camp, his face expressionless as he waited for Soul to tell the news.
