"Lizard Runes come in many shapes and colors. A commonly seem type is the Emerald variety such as this one. They are frequently found hunting for bugs from backyards to rural fields. They are small in size and actually make great companions. To keep warm they will constantly snuggle up next to their Rune Bearer and are generally very happy creatures. They have very long tongues which they use to catch bugs. Sometimes you can even catch one sticking their tongue out at something they dislike. But they are very polite..most of the time."

Welp, my full name is Herptillian, but that's not really a name you call someone by. You can call me Herp ^^

Very outgoing and friendly, with an endless appetite for flies.

What, you want to hear about my personality? Do I haaaaaaave to? Alright, fine. Well, I guess you could call me bubbly, fun-loving, and hyper. I love a good adventure, and I love people and other runes. Due to my hyper and friendly nature, I can sometimes intimidate others simply by being a bit too friendly. I have a tendency to hug with my little fingers, which involves squishing my scaly self into whoever I choose. I always love to play, wether it's tag, hide-and-seek, or chess. Actually, not chess. That's no fun. But I like fun games, which involve moving around and not too much thinking. I also like to eat. Y'see, food i- *tongue shoots out and catches fly* *munch, chew, crunch. swallow* As I was saying, food is very important to me. I can always eat more. Always. Flies are my personal favourite, but if it moves, I'll eat it. Well, not other runes or mammals or anything... but you get the point ^^ You don't want me to talk more, right? *chirps then flutters away*

Why do you wish to have him/her:
Because yes. He is perfect. One, I love reptiles and amphibians, and have always wanted a lizard or a snake. I was five when I had my first pet frog, which I kept with a toad. I had them both for 3 years. I've always kept animals, but mostly fish and frogs. I really want a lizard of snake, and still long for a bearded dragon or corn snake. But this boy might fill the void just a bit <3 His eyes are mazing, having life and joy trapped within their icy blue depths. His sweet expression shows jubilance and happiness for life, and I feel a bond that I haven't felt since Voodoo, maybe even never before. I can't stop thinking about him, and I drew him at school (even though today was my very first real day of high school). His colour is a soft and sweet shade of green, and his yellowy highlights are stunning. His claws and other body parts have a rough, but soft hewn look that makes him looks jubilant but gentil and kind. His wings are ragged, but not ugly or torn. Other than that, I love his everything <33333

Where will you keep him/her:
He'll have a post on my Rune Dragon thread, be drawn extensively, and probably be RPd too. Just lots of luff <3

Any Quirks:
Although Herp is rather normal, he has separation enziety. If he's left alone for too long, he'll thrash about, flying into windows and clawing at doors, trying to get back to people and other runes to the point where he badly injures, or even kills, himself. It is a serious disorder and cannot be overlooked. He also tends to stand stock still in the sun to gather heat, and he is cold blooded. He can actually produce some heat, but it leaves his body very very fast.

Stories:
Since this boy doesn't have a "how he was found" kinda story just like Voodoo didn't, I'll write him one too <3 Based on a true story, this is my trip to Florida during the summer. I just added rune dragons in where the normal wildlife would have stood.

It was an ordinary day for me, just relaxing at home. The only thing out of the ordinary was that I was going on vacation the next day.I had been planning my trip to Florida for a while, and was very excited. I had heard that the shelling there was amazing, and knew that the wildlife was spectacular. I'd herd that runes of all shapes and sizes lived in Florida, and so many exotic varieties I would never find in Canada. I sat down and began to read over the trip brochures again. I'm not sure how long I stayed up, but Voodoo, who had been knitting drawing, was out cold. I glanced at the clock, and to my horror, it was 5:00 AM. My flight was at 9:00! I ran to my room to pack, kicking the rocking chair Voodoo was on to wake him up. My rune flew swiftly along behind me, packing his own tiny suitcase with the supplies he'd need (some snacks,knitting needles and wool, and a disposable camera). We were packed and out the door by about 6:50. We got to the airport at about 7:30, and hurried onto the plane for 8:45. Customs went well, and Voodoo got to come on the plane with me by pretending to be a toy (not too hard for him).

When me and Voodoo got off of the plane, we were both hit by the sudden heat. It was a beautiful place, with trees that looked like they could be growing in Canada, and some plan trees that looked like this was the only place you could see them. WIP
