Dax sighed. The licking on his neck felt soft and soothing. "I love you too, Rip Tide, I love you too." He continued to walk with his head in the same spot, his eyes closed. He walked slowly, being careful not to trip over anything. "Yes, he is jealous......." He said after a while.

Rip Tide continued to lick his neck. "Maybe um.....would you um...well when you feel better would you maybe want to....to be my mate?" She saw a cave and walked him towards it

Dax gasped. "I.....I........" He thought this over for a while. He coughed and spat blood again. He had always loved Rip Tide, but he was still a little unsure of it. He finally made a choice, he knew it would be the wise one. "Yes."

Rip Tide looked at him with a small bit of surprise on her face. "You..you will?" She said. "I mean..great but I..I dont want to have to force you if you really dont want to."

"Y.... yes, I do. I have thought it over." Dax closed his eyes and a small smile spread across his face. He wanted to lick Rip Tide, but he couldn't move his neck. He continued to walk slowly.

Rip Tide wagged her tail and laid him down in the cave. "You need some rest."

Fable galnced at Jake disgusted "dumb mutt" she snapped and walked away.

Nightmare looked at Fable and followed her.

Dax sighed as he was placed on the cooling ground of the dark cave. "Thank you." He whispered and closed his eyes.

Rip Tide smiled and went back to gently cleaning his neck
