Ember glared at the kitten who was asleep on the sofa.

Ember just went out onto the porch int he back garden and laid there, at least he'd be out the way then...

Bill looked at room he'd just picked up, then at the kitten. "How on earth did the kitchen get totally destroyed...?"

Ember laid there, he knew he'd get the blame for the kitchen, it wasn't like he hadn't done it before.

Bill shook his head and walked outside. "Ember...?"

Ember looked up at him quietly.

Bill sat next to Ember. "Hey. What happened while I was gone...?"

"It's that stupid cat!" Ember snarled.

Bill looked a bit surprised. "What?"

"That cat, I hate it!" Ember sneered. Since it arived, it'd done nothing but gotten Ember into trouble.
