As she curled up in bed, too anxious and pressured to sleep, her thoughts loomed on what had happened earlier. Annetka did something wrong and she understood that, she knew she didn't have a real place in this coven but she didn't want to admit it or think about it. Nor did she believe that she had a place near Griffin. But, maybe there was a way to make all of this better. To get him to forgive her, maybe even more, and to let her feel better about herself. Maybe she could take down the werewolf on her own.

Even with Annetka back, I still couldn't sleep. I silently got up and creeped down the stairs, managing to hold in my groan of pain when I banged my shoulder against the corner of the wall. I just growled softly, and made my way to the couch. I laid down and turned the tv on, putting it on mute.

I stared at her, unsure if she was scared.. Azzy wagged her tail, not knowing what was happening.

She had officially made up her mind. Annetka would go after the werewolf, and possibly even Christie. That would make Griffin proud of her, wouldn't it? She shook her head and yanked her pillow beneath it, sighing softly. It was twisted beyond belief, the way she felt she had to be noticed. Or liked. After a moment she finally pushed herself up and out of bed, crouching down to her drawers to tug out a small book. She peeled it open and flipped through the pages - it was an old journal of hers.

Collin glanced up at the sky. "I think it's time to head back," he said softly.
Christie smiled and carried Azzy back to Collin and Haezel's romm. She set her down on the bed before making a pallet on the floor with a fluffy blanket.
