"I'm glad you think so," Dappleshade purred to Oceanheart. She turned to Larchclaw. "I have. I was thinking this one (she-kit) could be Mosskit, this one (she-kit) could be Rosekit, and he (tom) could be Nightkit. Do you like them?"

Oceanheart smiled at the three kits and remembered her small family; her mate and two she-kits. At one time they were her life, but it wasn't meant to be and her mate dissapeared and her kits taken away. A few tears came to her eyes, but she pushed them away and shook her head to clear her thoughts.
