Well in the episode, Mabel is getting taller than Dipper, and that makes her the "Alpha Twin". Because of that, he wants to get taller, and Gideon uses that to his advantage. Someone said that Gideon is going to try and hypnotize Dipper or something like that. But after looking stuff up, I assumed one day Gideon would do that since he's psychic and all >.<
