I'm so crushed like I never was before. I wanted Chika so bad. Honestly, I love her more than any of my characters. But I can't outbid a zebra. I'm crying so hard, and I'm not even lying. Every character I want is being taken. Sorry, I just needed to rant. The only character that REALLY clicked with me. And of course I don't get it.

I know how you feel. Yesterday, I liked 2 charicters, and 1 person decided to place 100+ rares on both. I cried for hours, bacause it really wasn't even fair. I tried so hard for either of them, and they both go to someone who, as far as I looked, didn't even have a thread ;n;

If you mean a character thread, people don't really need one... I've never had one, I'm trying to make a site, but I don't really feel like having one. You don't need a thread/site to prove you love a character

What I meant was in that I saw that they would get charicters, and then leave them to rot

A lot of people have characters that "rot", doesn't mean they don't deserve them? owo; I mean, what if you just don't have the muse for the character, but decide to come back later and draw or order art. Maybe it'll grow on you over time, or at least you can say you'll still have that character. What if you don't use it, sell it, but then come back and want to do something with it but don't have it. If you have the means to get it, I say go for it. Personally, as a designer, I'd rather see characters rot than being sold and traded around. I like to know who has my characters, even if they're not used, I know they were/are loved cause it shows when they were bought. c:

I had this happen, only with an adoption agency. I put in a form for a character I adored...the adoption agency went on hiatus, and, in the mean time...the donor gave the character away, cause the code drop was taking too long. I was crushed. OTL

Later on, though, the donor gave me a character like him, because she's mutual friends with a friend of mine. So, I guess I had a good outcome. ^.^

I remember wanting a character...had just offered and saw that nobody else had taken a liking to it. Next day saw someone else had it :I was not very happy for a few days but got over it. you'll be fine

I lose characters I love all of the time. I've learned to not get too attached before it's judged, else I just feel like a complete failure for trusting that I had everything I needed to win.

And I used to have a thread, and then a site... but since I don't have Internet at my house - just on campus - I can't update it all of the time and it just goes obsolete. So I've all but given up on it. Doesn't mean I don't love all 200+ of my characters. <33

Well, thank God, I finally finished this history and am more than ready to go hogwild and order some celebratory art. I better find some places open. >;c We'll see how that goes. xP But anyways, as I promised, here's to answering questions. x3

If your characters hypothetically broke the fourth wall and were your best friends, how would they react to find how many characters you have/how much you spend on them/the fact you're in a clan for this kinda thing?
Well, I'd find it a tad outrageous if I had 100 and something best friends, so I'm just going to use a few of my characters for this hypothetical question, namely my current favorites, The Hopper and Cai. But I don't think Cai likes me right now as I'm too lazy to spell her name correctly with the accent mark in place. Oh well. She'll live with it. I'm providing her with food, shelter, and extra art.

Anyhow, they might feel betrayed? D: Or they might just think I'm some big egghead with no friends so I have to make up friends for myself and spend pets created from pizels on more pets created from pixels. Jeez. When I put it that way through my characters' mouths, it makes me sound like a very sad little egg. :c Cai'd rear me. I know that feisty little she-horse would. Namely because I put her up for adoption at a character adoption agency, got her a great home, took her from that great home because they no longer wanted her any more, and still I haven't spent a penny on art for her. >8D I could only hope and be led to believe that Hop, however, would like me. He doesn't usually hate anything. c: Lucky me.

If you have canine character out of all of them what is your favorite. For this even if you have more then one you can only name one.
Not easy. But at the same time, easier than the general favorite character question because now I only have to look at one species and choose. x3 Probably The Hopper, just because he's cute and all. o3o


Were you ever attached to a character you weren't even sure you'd get?
Happens to me all of the time. I'm very attached to a white dog with tan spots right now, a character that Lirrie owns. But I doubt I'll ever get her. I'm also rather attached to a character at the SCAA [Symphony Character Adoption Agency for those of you who have yet to know that], a boy named Dink with a terribly simple and generally unappealing design but way to much of a character build for me not to want. But of course, I never have muse at the RIGHT times and may never get him. xP

What sense of humour do you characters have?
It's a pretty even bunch of different sorts of humor. Some have just the right amount, others are far too humoured with their puns that no one understands. Sounds like my Bible/religion teacher really. And then there's those ones that hate life, or the ones that are just generally hard headed. For that second option, I poke Cai. I don't see what her big deal is. o3o

How do you work out getting art for the characters who have none?
Well, obviously I don't, because they have none.
I kid, I kid.
I simply had to read too deeply into the question. c:<
But anyhow, I usually just get art of whoever I feel really connects with me at the moment. If they never get any art, it's usually because they don't truly connect with me and they usually end up finding a home elsewhere.

How tall are your characters? (try to be accurate)
They're wiggle worms. Never let me measure them. >:c They're just generally average. xP

What are your characters views on politics?
I'll give my fursonas' views.
As for Liberty, don't even bother to ask for her opinion. She and I both plan to be going into law and justice, perhaps even politics one day. It's just not worth wasting your life asking for her opinion as she will effortlessly ramble off tidbits of information and opinion for hours on end. She's very into keeping in touch with what goes on in the world. Politics and news? She's game. She'll gladly defend her opinion. She and I are... good at debates and never see ourselves as being wrong. I don't lose these things. ene

As for Wesley? The lazy bum couldn't tell you who's president right now.

Sometimes I feel like I'm getting rid of all of my old characters that used to really make up me. It makes me kind of sad. But I know that there's always those few that I'll NEVER get rid of. That makes me feel better every time. (:

What is or are your main use(s) for your characters? [art, writing, drawing them yourself, keeping you entertained/company, etc.]
Depending on the character, I sometimes use them to write. Mostly I order art of them, brag about them, and develop their personalities. <3

When you find that you no longer have a use for one of your characters, what do you usually do with them?
Usually, especially recently, I've been selling them or donating them to character adoption centers. However, a few things that have recently happened or dawned upon me have made me decide that unless I paid a fortune for the character, I don't really want to trade any more characters. I'll just give them to close friends or donate them to adoption centers, because selling characters can affect the old owner and can also affect those who wished to buy them but were not able. I know how it feels to lose a character when you wanted it so badly. I also know what it's like to be scared of losing the character, so you end up looking like that person that just bid half of their collection on a character. Oh wait. I did do that once. ene. But I connected with Dancer so much, guys. I had to have her, okay? xD

Okay, for some reason when I wrote this question I was thinking of rubber duckies. And now I'm convinced that one of my characters needs to have a secret infatuation with rubber ducks. It's one of the many ways I can put a piece of me into my characters. I used to collect ducks. xD They didn't make me happy or anything, though. And I didn't hoard. They were just cute. :0 But anywho, I have now bestowed upon Jamil an avid love for ducks. I need art now.
