Well, its a funny story about a rubber rat I once owned.
His name was Mr. Ratenstien. He was rubber, filled with beads, and he was realistic. I had him for the longest time, and I loved him so much...just like a real rat. He was my first pet, even if he was fake. I would give him food in the morning, I bought a cage for him, and he was just my baby.
I also did silly things with him. I twisted him a lot, and beads pushed at the seam of his rubber, and it was hilarious. My brother could never get enough of him.
Then, one day, I twisted him way too hard. He exploded, and beads went everywhere. I know I was stupid to have done it, but I was crying because I had killed him. I picked up as many beads as I could, put them in, and tried to get him shut.
It worked for a while, but the hole was always opening up. Eventually, I accidentally left him in my dad's trunk, and he began to melt ;u;
When I got him back, he was a messed up excuse for a toy rat. So I cried again for Mr. Ratenstien. I swear, he was my favorite.
Then, next Sunday, my dad told me to throw him away. So my brother and I decided to pull a prank, one last thing of fun with my dear rat.
I put him in the trash can of the lady's room. It wasn't a huge one, so you could see the bottom easily. Man, I'm not sure if anyone saw him, but the next Sunday he was gone.
To this day I miss Mr. Ratenstien. *Has tears in eyes*
