The Hallways at Magnus Monastery are a very beautiful and wonderous things, if not slightly intimidating; they stretch atleast 20 feet across and nearly three stories high. The floors are an elegant polished cream marble, with veins of gold and grey stretching through them, the walls where the same great slate that the mysterious school was built from, but the things that hung from the wall where something very unique; denpending on what tower or wing you where in, the theme of the walls would change.

The heart of the school was always draped in angelic, rich golds and red; extravagant, magnificent and commanding tapestries hung from the walls, some reaching from floor to ceiling, great depictions of past battles, scholarly achiements, magical beasts and festivals where directly embroded onto them. The high domed ceilings were often painted with astounding murals, and hung great chandeliers from their rafters.

It was one of these awe inspiring hallyways that Sophie was making her way down. The tapping of shoes against marble was heavily muffled, due to the fact that the marble she was walking over was covered in a thick, worn out red carpet. Thousands of students had walked over this carpet, it was allowed to be a little worn out.

Sophie gave another sleepy yawn, brushing a stray peace of lint from her long black pants; she had opted for them instead of the skirt for a simply reason. Skirts where dangerous, that, and they where uncomfortable.

The danger of skirts was a common problem that most girls knew about and most guys eagerly anticipated; the accidental flash. Bend over to pick something up and your skirts just not quite long enough? Accidental flash. You go to uncross your legs and you open them up just a bit to much? Accidental flash.

Sophie did not want to go anywhere near an embarrasing incident like that, so she stuck to a red tie and black pants. She gave an aggrevated huff as she once more shoved the sleeves of her blazer up to her elbows, she detested anything laying over her forearms, it was just so irratating.

She ran her right hand through her wet hair, a nervous habit she'd always possed, it generally only appeared when she was nervous, stressed, or tired.

"Narhak ti ron du fan" Sophie murmed under her breath and a spark of magic ignoted under the skin of her left hand, running the same hand through her hair again she felt the water heat and evaporate from her hair, continuing this method until she was left with prefectly dired hair, Sophie gave a smile, please with the results.

"Ah, Good morning, Young Lady, I hope this morning sees' you well." Came the old drawls of Mrs. Brooker, snapping Sophie from her daze.

Sophie stopped and gave a respectful lowering of her head before she answered.

"Yes, I'm feeling fine, Mrs. Brooker." she intonned lightly, after Mrs. Brooker had given her a nod she moved past the teacher.

What she faced was a set of gigantic oak doors, they where atleast two stories high and 40 feet across, but what always stunned her when she saw this door was the breath-taking carving of a luminous and majestic tree, but what really got her was the exquisite details; a plethora of magical animals and species littered the tree, it was truly beautiful.

Sophie was broken out of her daze as she felt her stomach remind her that she was hungry, so leavign the viewing of the carved tree for another day, Sophie strode towards the base of the trees trunk, right towards the large seam seperating both doors and bisecting the huge tree straight down the middle; there on ether side of the doors was another set of doors, these ones, while no doubt larger then your average door, where still tiny compared to pair they where set into.

The large cast iron doors where covered in what looked like celtic knots, what they meant, she didn't know and didn't particulary care. Moving through the now open doors she walked right into the Great Hall.

The Great Hall stretched atleast 50 feet, and was 40 feet wide, several large dark tables stretched all the way along it's length. Just like the Hallways the Great Hall was covered in beautiful paitings and tapestries, suites of armour and the like. Directly down the end was a large ornate white wood table, the legs where made out of what looked like twisted roots growing direstly out of the floor; it was certainly a much more delicate and elegant table then the others, that was the Head Boy and Girl and the Prefects table.

All and all, the first time she had seen the Great Hall that someone had made the off handed comment of 'What the hell is this? It looks like Harry Potter!' One of the teachers had become a little huffy at that point in time and had promptly told the boy 'Wizards have been around a lot longer then Harry Potter, Boy!'

Making her way to a table Sophie sat down on one of the benches lining the tables. She also loved eating here, the food was amazing and so well prepared, they had food from all over the world, and even magical foods aswell, the school did, afterall, need to cater to every spieces diet.

There was fresh growing flowers seemingly growing straight out of the tables for the pollen eaters, a collection of fruits and vegetables' scattering over the tables in bowls and plates for the herbivores, a mass of meats, both raw and cooked for those who ate it, dishes of both hot and cold and different ingredients let their delicious odours form like scent clouds that wafter over the Great Hall, great pitchers of liquid lined the table tops, jugs of syrups, water, juices and others; but what had alot of people put off were the great big wine bottles that seemed to hold something that looked that looked like liquid cherries.

It wasn't.

No, these bottles were filled with blood, afterall, even vampires needed to eat, but i'm not saying the scent or the sight didn't have many students running to the bathrooms; she generally didn't care, she only becamse grossed out when a non-blood drinking student though it was some kind of juice.

Thank god she had never done that.

And with that Sophie sat down to enjoy a meal of great food and enjoy herself.

((Hey guys! Feel free to decorate the school! This is your RP as much as it is mine, if I really don't like soemthing, which would be never, I'll PM you about it. And on that note, if someone has described something, you can't describe it any differently. By the way, unless I forgot to put it in the rules, you are allowed to have animals with you in the hallway, alot of students have them wait outside the classrooms.))

((OH AND ANOTHER THING! THIS IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR! Just to let you now! xD And I added a new rule '-You must never let a human find out about the supernatural community.' in this RP humans do not know about supernatural creatures. I thought I hinted at that with the 'How to hide your secrets from humans' But I thought I should have it in writting for just in case, I also updated some RP rules, so please take a quick second to re-view them, as they pretain to how the RP will be played.))

((your post are so good! ))

Christopher made his way down the imaculate hallways of the school after he was showered and some what presentiable. His appertent lack of hyigen never seemed to hurt his social skills go he didn't care. He waved at a couple other students as he made his way to the cafiteria for so blood. He didn't mind drinking blood, aslong as he had a breathmint on hand, blood breath was not very appealing to most girls.

He pushed the door to the cafitira open and the smell of food hit him, he made a bee line for the blood section. "Gross" he muttred looking at the bottle of blood he had in his hand. He much rather bit into on of the students or even better a teacher. He sighed and walked over to one of the empty tables. Christopher wasn't anti-social or anything but if people wanted to talk to him they could come sit with him.

He opened the bottle and with one more dreaded look he took a sip, then put the bottle back down. He would drink it when he got thirsty enogh. He was still tired and soon fell into a sort of day dreaming state as he looked out on of the the windows.

Nathaniel walked into the room announced by a few first year witches sighing. He mussed up his hair until it looked like a dark red haystack. A little creamy face stuck out of his pocket, sniffing rapidly. "No, Finn," Nathaniel said in a soft Irish accent. Finn started to crawl out of the pocket. Nathaniel tried to stuff Finn back in his pocket, but to no avail. Nathaniel sighed and tipped his head back, exasperated. He cut into the meat line and grabbed a small sausage, much to the annoyance of a werewolf who attempted to box him in the ear. Nathaniel dropped and rolled out off the way, using a fencing trick he made up. He hopped back to his feet and wandered through the line, piling his plate with some of all the food on the table.

He sat down at the third year table and started stuffing his face with food. He always ate a ridiculous amount at breakfast, but nothing during the rest of the day. His brother joked that he was the elven camel. The brawl was legendary.

Jasmine made her way through the halls and into the dining area. She breathed in the smell of exotic foods and sighed. Even though Jasmine, being a fairy, was a vegan she did not mind the sight or smell of meat, raw or cooked, and blood. As long as it was not going into her mouth she was ok with it.

She went to the section for fruits and hand picked herself a delightful fruit salad willed with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Along with that she poured herself a glass of water mixed with lemon juice and a pinch of sugar. She smiled down at her breakfast and started to look for a table.

Jasmine found a nice table by the window and sat down. She has always loved the sunshine and stared out the window as she ate. All her attention was on the scenery outside as she automatically moved her fork to her mouth with fruit.

Crash!

Lace woke up with a start. "What in blazes?!" She exclaimed, and jumped out of bed, moving around her dorm with a kung-fu stance. "I'll kill you! I'm not afraid!" She yelled out, and heard another soft crash. She hid behind a corner, and then peered around.

"Myaaan." Moon meowed with a huge grin. Lace's serious face turned into a happy one as she saw her books sprawled out all over the floor, with Moon sitting in the pile with content. "Aww, Moon." Lace rolled her eyes, and went over to pick up her books, and put them all onto her desk.
"There. Now don't go getting yourself into any more trouble." Lace said to her naughty cat, and waved a finger at her. Moon stared up at her owner, and meowed lazily at her. Lace chuckled a little, and nudged her cat with her foot. "Khciii!" Moon hissed, and turned around with a jolt.
Lace laughed, and left her dorm with a smile on her face, locking the door behind her.

The hall was full of people, and Lace had a hard time getting through them all. Man...I'm glad I didn't bring Moon out here, she would've teared down the walls. Lace thought to herself, and then reached the breakfast hall. She felt her stomach grumble, and looked around. Most of the seats were taken. Now she wished that she had brought Moon.
Lace sighed, and went onto the Breakfast line.

--

After a while, she found a place to sit. She noticed other students sitting by themselves, too. She tilted her head at every one of them;
There was a red haired girl, who looked somewhat irritated.
A dark-haired Vampire, drinking blood from a bottle. The thought of doing that made Lace shudder slightly.
A sort of, elf boy. Who seemed very good at acrobatics. She smiled to herself, and kept looking around.
And a girl, who was carefully watching the world outside. She seemed in a dreamy state, much like herself.

When other people saw her staring, Lace widened her eyes and gnawed on an apple she had gotten.

Nan walked down the hall, thinking about her dream. She knew witches dreams could sometimes mean important things; telling the future, desires, etc. Could it mean she would be powerful, but be in danger? Gosh, I hope not.

Nan walked over to the food tables, grabbed some pancakes, milk, and of course, bacon, and looked for a place to sit. She spied an empty table and sat down. She continued to think about her dream, no matter how much she tried not to. Annoyance slowly built in her.

I wish I had brought Lil out here. I need someone to comfort me and calm me down. Between being alone and thinking about her dream, she was nervous. Suddenly, she felt eyes on her. She turned, but the girl staring was already looking at another kid, who was drinking something dark red out of a bottle. Is that..? No, I really hope that's not what I think it is. She shuddered. The girl's violet eyes continued to roam around the room, lingering on a few more students. Nan studied her for a minute. She looked about 18, and had light green hair and dark purple eyes. I wonder what she is... Nan murmured to herself. The girl smiled, then bit into an apple. Before Nan knew what she was doing, she had picked up her food and was walking over to her.

"So how are the apples? I'm Nan, by the way."
(Possibly) Back after a long hiatus!

Nathaniel looked up, a chuck of banana hanging out of his mouth at a jaunty angle. His ears were itching, which was usually a sign someone was looking at him without his knowledge. Either that, or Finn was tickling his ear. He checked his pocket, but Finn was there, dozing after his big breakfast. Nathaniel closed his eyes for a moment, then opened them. His dark green eyes glowed slightly. A girl was shimmering with a golden glimmer. She seemed to be a witch, but all Nathaniel cared about was that she was looking at him. He picked up what was left of his food and sat by her. "Hello."

Sophie was quiet happly munching away on her food, tearing the fresj bread up between her fingers before pooping it into her much, it would have been ridiculous to use her set of knife and fork for such an easy task. Her large blue eyes took there time flitting over every student in the Great Hall, she could see a few of them had snuck there pets in, but it seemed the teachers where being slack on that front; there where several people sitting alone, that was something she hadn't expected, she could tell they where the type that would have people flocking to them.

She gave a snort of amusment as she was right, seeing a few of them begin to congrigate around another girl who had been observing them; but that snort of amusment would coast Sophie greatly.

As Sophie gave a hack, her eyes widend and begun to tear, giving another hack she tried to force the bit of bread that had been lodged into her throat, sucked backwards by the sharp inhalation of air that her amusment had provided. SHoveing her chair backwards as she stood, her left hand wrapped around her throat and she continued to try get the bread out of her throat, bending over, her right hand resting against the edge of the table she tried to wheeze around it, but no luck.

With a clatter her glasses slipped down her nose and onto the ground.

'This is not happening to me.' Sophie paniced mentally.

Lace turned around to face Nan, and smiled warmly. "Oh, hi." She grinned.
"The apples are ok. A little...Bitter for my taste." The girl replied in her British accent, and held the apple up a little. She studied it, and then her eyes narrowed. A little smirk spread across her face, and she whisked her finger around the apple three times. "One two three, let this apple be as sweet as a treat." She sang, and the apple glowed a little before dimming out. "Well, it was bitter." She smiled, and took a bite. She looked up kindly at Nathan, and was about to greet him, but heard a loud coughing noise.
"Oh my god!" Lace exclaimed, and ran over to Sophie. She hit her on the back, and tried to help her get the food down or throat, or even get her to spit it out.
"Someone get her a drink of water!" She called out.
