(Thanks so much, Rose! I miss you, too! =3 I have a very busy schedule, but I'm trying to post more.)

FireClan
Foxflame smiled briefly, already feeling the strain of running so far. They kept trotting in silence for most of the run, saving their breath for the hard work of running up-hill to reach the fire-mountain. The ginger tom could feel the air growing hotter, more humid, until he felt actual drops of condensation forming on his coat.

Nightfire huffed and puffed up the slope. I need to get in better shape! But in the meantime, she needed to stop and breathe! The black she-cat slowed to a stop. "Let's...take a...breather," she panted.

Flameheart opened his eyes once again. He just couldn't sleep! Oh, well, he thought, I'll just get some excersize and maybe do some hunting. The dirt beneath him shifted as he struggled to get to his paws. "Now I'm all dirty!" he exclaimed. Padding outside for better light, the tom sat down to groom his ginger pelt.

WaterClan
Rainstar trotted with her deputy and her medicine cat, both keeping pace easily. They watched as the land became less green and lush until there was only grass covering the ground in front of them. The blue she-cat stopped running to catch her breath. "Stonefur, Pinefeather," she meowed, waiting for them to stop. "We'd better catch something to eat before we get to EarthClan territory."

Silverleaf lowered her nose to the ground, sniffing like a wolf. She could detect Dawnsinger's scent faintly, but she didn't know where the she-cat had gone. As she thought, a stray breeze snuck over the AirClan border, ruffling her gray fur. Stormcall! she thought triumphantly. "Otterpaw, you can go on to the lake with the rest of the clan. I'll be right there." The warrior trotted away, heading for the green hills where she hoped to find her clanmate and her brother. She would have brought Otterpaw with her, but she didn't want the apprentice to see Stormcall on their territory.

AirClan
Stormcall chuckled softly. "I never said I didn't like the smell of fish," he meowed in protest, not noticing the sudden sadness of her eyes as he laughed. "And I don't smell dead." He paused. "Or at least I shouldn't."

Ashfeather crept silently, trusting Nightfeather to keep still. She could detect tiny footsteps from within the bush. A mouse maybe, or a vole. All the more reason to keep quiet. If it was a mouse, the warrior needed to tread as lightly as possible, for it could detect her pawsteps before it could see, hear, or smell her. Ashfeather took a few more kit-steps forward. It was a mouse! It was feasting on the seeds of the bush and would be plump and easy to catch. She smiled in anticipation, tensing her muscles for the pounce.

Nightfeather lowered his body to the ground, careful not to disturb any leaves. He watched as his mate crept toward her target until she tensed and pounced! There was a brief scuffle, and then Ashfeather emerged triumphantly, the limp body of a mouse dangling from her jaws. She approached him and dropped it at his feet. "I think that was pretty successful," she meowed, and licked her paw. "That bush was a little scratchy, though." Nightfeather's eyes widened with concern. "Is it okay? Do we need to go back to camp and see Ashwhisker?" Ashfeather laughed and held out her paw. "It's just a tiny scratch. See?" In truth, he coudn't see anything. "Everything is fine. Why don't you catch something now?"

EarthClan
Earthpaw raced to camp, but Sunheart was streaking past him before he could say a word. The apprentice decided to stay in camp and wait for their return. He wouldn't be any help, anyway. Maybe he could fix a couple of nests for them in the medicine cat den. His whiskers drooped, partly from exhaustion as well as worry. He padded inside the den and let his eyes glow, forming two hollow bowl-shapes in the ground. Sinking into one of them, he resolved to rest until the nest was needed. He had used quite a bit of his energy on his powers. A little nap couldn't hurt...

RockClan
Marshpelt padded after Islandsong. "Wait!" he called. "What about that hunting patrol?"

IceClan
Nightfall saw the two she-cats back away in his peripheral vision. The wolf growled and stepped toward his limp body, ready to make the kill. Nightfall's eyes dulled and the icicle fell. The tom looked away, afraid to see what happened. Silence.

SunClan
Petalsong nodded, breathing heavily. "Are they alright?" she asked softly, ripples racking her body.

Brightpaw froze and turned. "She's over there, with Petalsong." Then the apprentice raced into the medicine den, brain whizzing as she tried to remember the right herbs. "Chamomile to calm her, a poppy seed to ease the pain, and water to wash it down," she recalled the exact words her mentor had used. She grabbed the necessary herbs and rushed into the nursery, setting them down on the ground. Then she ran back to get water from the spring just outside the camp. "How's this?" she panted, out of breath from all the running.

LeafClan
Heathersong gulped her share of herbs, wincing as they went down. "Eat yours quickly," she meowed to Stormpaw, feeling a sense of urgency. "I'll tell you why we're going on the way there." She paced nervously, getting more of the vision as she waited.

DarkClan
Iceheart's mouth curved up into a terrible smirk. "This way, Sandpaw." She watched with delight as the small apprentice walked towards her as if in a trance. Suddenly she felt drained; she was not used to having powers. Her ice-blue eyes slowly dimmed their glow as the white she-cat backed into the undergrowth, leaving the dazed apprentice behind. "So it works!" she meowed triumphantly, having gotten out of Sandpaw's earshot. "Scar was right. The only way to gain in this world is to control, and if not control, kill!" Iceheart's eyes had a manic twinkle as she took up this new creed. For good.
Icestar hissed softly, hearing one of her minions scuffling about. Hopeflight was awake. And so was Willowshine. She padded down from her place atop the smooth rock. "Time for everyone to get up," she meowed harshly, stretching her powers out to rouse the cats.

Hopeflight frowned sulkily at Icestar, not wanting to get up. Suddenly she was calmed, feeling her mother around her. So it was really Lightheart that had visited her dreams!

StarClan
Lightheart watched her daughter wake far below StarClan. She sighed sadly and drifted down to Hopeflight, rubbing her daughter's head with hers. A cat was asleep nearby, a cat that needed her. The white StarClan cat left her daughter reluctantly and entered Willowshine's dreams. They were darkness, only darkness and the silver cat watching bleakly. "Willowshine," Lightheart said softly. "It's alright, dear one. Have faith. Stay close to Hopeflight. She knows what she's doing."

((-Hugs- Yay, it's Tinkpetz! And you're welcome, it didn't take me too long and I was happy to help. ^^ I will post for Dappleheart and perhaps Whiteblaze later; these may be slightly rushed since I have limited time. . .))
FireClan
Bloodstar relented, reluctantly giving in to the remorseful waves attempting to consume him. He was once again overcame with the vivid recallment as yet another memory filled his senses.
Bloodgaze's pelt prickled with distaste, horror, and some other unidentifiable emotion he didn't have a name for. It surely wasn't anything new these days; recently he had undergone painful emotional and mental changes due to Icepa-- Iceheart's betrayal. He stared down at his old apprentice, Crookedpaw, in barely hidden anguish. The young she-cat had been to uncontrollable for Iceheart's new "power" since she hadn't much practice with it, so his former friend had murdured her. Crookedpaw's throat had been utterly ripped out, but her blood had stopped rushing from the fatal wound long ago to stain the forest floor a brilliant scarlet. One of Iceheart's so-called warriors-- they were more like minions, perhaps slaves --had snapped off both of her forelegs and snapped her now broken spine. Crookedpaw's name suddenly seemed to fit, Bloodgaze realized as he watched the smoke-pelted cat. Iceheart's scent was still fresh on her as well; he could distinguish it's death-smalling scent despite the smell already covering her small, broken body. His eyes closed momentarily while the pale-furred tom allowed himself only a few heartbeats of grief, his half sister's scent filling his nostrils and screaming violently for his attention.

WaterClan
Dawnsinger reassured Stormcall, "You don't smell of death, I would hope." The silver she-cat parted her jaws to mew more, but a usually welcomed scent but now alarming scent reached her as the wind shifted yet again. Silverleaf! Her eyes flicked nervously to her mate when she weighed the chances on how likely it was that her friend and fellow WaterClan warrior was aware of their presence or not, which weren't very likely if she were referring to the first possibility. Her long tail twitched anxiously as Silverleaf's scent grew stronger, a shiver of foreboding rippling down her spine while the other she-cat approached.

IceClan
Shadepaw's ears flicked in irritation when Shiverpaw began speaking. "Well, where do you reckon they are? Usually they would have said something if they would be out so long, but I just don't know if everything's okay. What if. . ." He stopped listening to Shiverpaw's pointless prattle. It was all he could to restrain himself from snorting; was she really trying to strike up a conversation with him? She was delusional. Shadepaw gave a revulsed shake of his dark-furred head and abruptly padded away without a word, leaving the pale ginger apprentice to drop her gaze, humbled by his actions. He sensed Shiverpaw take a tentative pawstep toward him but he ignored her.

LeafClan
Stormpaw obediently crouched to the leaf-strewn ground and chewed the herbs. Their foul taste caused her dark gray fur to prickle in disgust and stand up but she choked them down anyway and swiped a pink tongue around her lips, wishing for some water to wash the taste away. She quickly got to her paws and mutely followed Heathersong out of camp, her mind buzzing with unanswered queries, curiousity blazing within them like a wildfire. The traveling herbs settled in Stormpaw's belly and nearly immediately a new energy coursed throughout her body along with a stimulated spring in her hastened step. She found no difficulties in keeping up with the older she-cat and easily found the breath to inquire briefly, "So, why the sudden detour to SunClan?"

EarthClan

"Would you mind getting them some prey? They need to eat" Sunheart said.

WaterClan

Pinefeather nodded. She dropped into a hunting crouch and stalked a robin. She pounced and caught it with one swift paw.

AirClan

Silverwind sat and purred. She liked Stripetail.

Rockclan
Minkstar sat in his den, thinking of what to do next. He stared at the grey sky, which was dull and cloudy. "Hmm. Looks like rain." he mumbled. Or its just Air Clan cats practicing their powers.

Graystone muttered grumpily as he sorted through the herbs as best as he could. The wind kept scattering things around in his den, and it was getting frustrating.
Grrr Starclan help me I am about to go and cuff every single Air Clan cat who is practicing their powers at the same time! he growled mentally. He knew the apprentices were probably training in groups. That would explain the wild directions the wind was blowing everywhere. The apprentices most likely weren't very good at controlling the gusts yet. Finally, he managed to get everything organized as the wind died down. "Done." he said, nodding in satisfaction as he looked over his handiwork. Just then, another gust blew and scattered everything. His ears pinned back as a growl rumbled in his throat.
I'm going to throttle them. he muttered.

((As for the recap: my most recent posts are here; hdmwolf's; ~☮*Shadowfang*☮~'s; Mysticat's; Tinkpetz's I, Tinkpetz's II. The rest aren't very active (Strawberry-wolf, Seasonal <3, C.C., and Mysticat.) but aren't very engaged with other user's charries anyway and haven't posted much either, so. . . Tink gets two because she's special. ;3))

((Oh joy. Wonderful, thank you very much. Take it up with Tinkpetz if you're really sure. "Thinking" about it shouldn't take too long, and I supplied a decent recap and hope someone read it. -_-"))

Re: PowerClans: The Rise of DarkClan (Members needed!)

Postby Tinkpetz » Mon Apr 26, 2010 4:56 pm

(-Hugs back- It's okay, Rose. I'll just recap. Icestar is plotting to take over the forest with her minions. Right now, her group is resting somewhere outside IceClan territory. In FireClan, Foxflame, Mudpaw and Nightfire are going to the top of the fire-mountain to train Mudpaw. In WaterClan, the leader, deputy and medicine cat have left for EarthClan and all the others are going down to the lake. In AirClan, Stripetail and Silverwind are flirting, (for lack of better words) and Ashfeather and Nightfeather are out hunting. In EarthClan, Emberclaw, Lightwhisper and Earthpaw went out on patrol when an earthquake sent a tree falling on Emberclaw and Lightwhisper. They are now being treated by the medicine cat, Sunheart. In RockClan, nothing is really happening except Marshpelt asked Islandsong to go on a patrol. In IceClan, Shiverpaw is driving Shadepaw insane inside the camp. Outside the camp, Nightfall was attacked by a white wolf. Leopardfur and Flamedancer (who is from SunClan) came to his rescue. They just managed to kill it by dropping an icicle on it. In SunClan, Petalsong is about to have her kits, and Flowerface and Brightpaw, the medicine cats, are trying to prepare her. In LeafClan, Heathersong and Stormpaw are going to visit SunClan before going to the Moonrock for help on how to defeat Icestar. That's pretty much it for the whole RP so far. If you want to get into more detail, read my posts that Rose provided a link to. Hope that helps!)

WaterClan
Silverleaf could definitely smell Dawnsinger now, and she thought she recognized Stormcall's scent on the breeze as well. Grinning triumphantly, she picked up the pace, determined to catch the couple.

Stormcall saw his mate become worried and anxious. "What's wrong?" he asked, a look of puzzlement on his handsome face. He lifted the breeze to his face so he could smell everything along it. Trees, trees, grass, flowers, trees, Silverleaf... Silverleaf! He stepped back nervously. "Should I go? I don't want you to get in trouble again."

Rainstar nodded her congratulations and ran into the scant bushes to find her own prey. She knew rabbits were plentiful here on the plains. One only had to be cunning enough to catch one.

EarthClan
Earthpaw blinked awake, staggering to his feet. Emberclaw and Lightwhisper were there and he was in the way. "Uh, um, 'scuse, er," he stammered, fighting his way out. "I made the nests for you," he managed once he had freed himself. Feeling nervous and stupid, he stumbled away to the apprentice den.

LeafClan
"Well," Heathersong began once they were on their way. "I had a vision about one of SunClan's queens. I know her well, so the vision is all the more likely to be true. She was having her kits-" The medicine cat broke off, not sure how to finish. "And things went terribly wrong."
