Adam woke up by the pasture. His hair was ruffled and his t-shirt was scrunched. He remembered that his bike didn't have gas, so he had slept outside leaning on the fence. He stood up and stretched.

Xenia nuzzled Laoro in their stall. They hadn't been set free yet.

Steel cantered around the valley meadow, happy to have escaped.

Thowra woke up under the shade of the trees and he snorted.

Zelda pinned her ears at the morning sunshine and nickered.

Midnight was bored in the pasture

Kelly walked out side finishing her egg and went to see luna.

Jon smiled and said," come on we have ways to go.."

Moonlight followed Jon "Whats you're history?"

Adam walked into the stables and patted Xenia. He examined her eye socket and gave her some general painkillers. "You seem happy. If only Kelly would visit you" he said. He left her stall and began to muck out the empty stalls.

Xenia nickered and pranced in place, feeling energized. She was happy to be with Laoro, happy she was better, and feeling good. She was wondering why that girl had not wanted to say hello to her.

"well its pretty long do you think you have the time?" Jon asked and laughed a bit.

Kelly pet luna and brushed her out. She admired her crescent shaped marking on her muzzle.

Luna enjoyed the humans but still wondered hoe being free was like. The only memory she had was with her mother, her father was never around and that was about it.

Jon started out by telling her about how he escaped from a ranch and wandered about for years and then he went on to the fire and every thing in between. He talked and talked until they reached the vally.
