cloudy whimpered. Is my leg really broken? She wondered, remembering the loud snapping noise it made when she got shoved down

"Dont worry Kira shh!" He gently moved her into the den and to the far back and licked her wound and whispered comforting words to her. He protected her from the wind with his body..

Kovu looked at Cloudy on his back, "You ok?" he asked worried..

Kira let tears run down her face. "but the cubs." she cried, worried about them.

"I-I think so....." cloudy said.

Takane soothed her gently, "We. they will make it through!" He didnt want to tell her the real truth right now..

Kovu laughed, "How can you think so you should know so!" He lay her gently on the ground then scurried about getting a flat stick and plant leaves to bind and hold her leg straight, "Voila!" he said when he had finished..

Cloudy looked at kovu. "Why didn't you just leave me?" she asked, "You couldve died getting me."

Kira frowned then after a very long time, fell asleep

Takane sighed and gently licked Kira, He was really upset about what happened..

Kovu sighed, because maybe I like you.." he mumbled under his breath..

Cloudy tilted her head. "what? You spoke too quietly."

Kira slept for about an hour then woke up in pain

Takane woke up when Kira did and sighed his heart was heavy..
