if their is no such thing as a british accent, their is no such thing as an american one, either. i'm american, and to us, we don't have accents. british people do, to us, and to everyone else who doesn't have a british accent. and to everyone that doesn't have an american accent, americans do have accents. it depends on how you talk.

anywho, i feel like such a couch potatoe. spent the whole day reading 1D fanfics xD

There is so such thing as a British accent, there's English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh and then in those countries there's different accents in the towns and city's.

I know everyone has an accent but there is so such thing as a British accent.

There is no such thing as an American accent either because there is a different accent in each state but you would still say 'American accent' but if you talk about the 'British' accent you should say either English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh.

I feel stupid now, I've always called it British accents. Dx
But I see what you mean now.
I guess people could say I have a New York accent, not Long Island or Brooklin. lol
I can't really picture anyone from, say Maine having an accent though.
Liverpool accents are pretty close to the "British" accent, from what I've heard.
They're a combination of English, Scottish & Irish accents.
