Noticing, some are constantly flooding adoptable oekaki with halftried patterns that literally, take less than 5-17 minutes to make. Which they end up constantly copying the same patterns off eachother by accident just because the patterns they're using are so incredibly common and took zero effort.
Maybe if there was some sort of time requirement on posting in adoptable oekaki they'd be slightly more inclined to not rush it, like if anything trying to be posted in that section refused to post until there was atleast 30min or so of time spent on it. Even if they just tried to wait it out it would be less of a matter of getting as many out in the least amount of time possible since it would be a lot harder to get them out so quickly and there'd be even less point than there is already in just clicking LA and slapping some random colors on it.
Thoughts?

Unfortunately I don't think I'd agree with this —
the oekaki board (especially the "sketches and experiments" category) is for the players of CS to express themselves, and to have fun.
It's so even for the players who maybe don't have access to Photoshop or SAI can still draw with lots of different tools and brushes.
A time requirement would also limit speed-draws, which are great practice for artists. I'm not meaning to "slam" your idea, just saying some things you maybe didn't think about c;

You're right that it didn't cross my mind, but those points don't have all that much to do with this context since it's not even referring to any group other than adoptables. It's only a suggestion about adoptable oekaki, since that's the group most commonly flooded, especially by newer members, with things they didn't even put effort into. And very rarely are they just trying to improve when they do this. And while more experienced artists are capable of doing it in such little time that doesn't mean they have to and you'd think they wouldn't spaztically rush something they plan on giving to someone else. Even an awesome artist makes the same mistakes as an unexperienced one if they put as little effort into it.
And you can, even if you don't do anything in that time if you save after doing nothing it will consider it time taken up. Hence why when you're loading an old drawing after opening a new oekaki to access it it'll give you a notice saying you haven't saved yet even when you've done nothing with that piece, and why artists always claim the timer is wrong because they left it open to go do something else.

Unfortunately I would have to agree with the others - I don't support this, sorry.
This has been suggested before (just a time limit on all Oekaki) and it was turned down. Putting in this feature.. I don't think it would be worthwhile, honestly. ^^; Most people do spend more time than 10 minutes coloring in editables, so I think we're fine just the way we are at the moment,
