I watched Annetka, wondering what on earth she was doing. I hadn't been able to fall asleep again and I had only been watching her for a few minutes since I had gotten up and followed her scent out of the house.

"Okay. I just didn't want to leave if you didn't want want to be by yourself.." I admitted, laying down in the grass.

Immortal tilted her head, lowering it a bit, and looked up at Darius. It was sort of a puppy-like look, although it wasn't something she did on purpose. "If you want to go home, you can," She said quietly, then continued for a moment more, "I'll be alright here on my own, for one night." She didn't need to start worrying about the night after.

Annetka just barely slowed down, letting the deer run ahead. Her breathing turned into soft panting as she leapt onto the next branch, steadied herself, shoved herself back off of it, then landed gently onto the next tree. Just as she leapt upwards she breathed in, smelling a rather familiar scent. Her head turned for a split second and her feet missed the next branch, causing her to roll down across the ground a few times with a heavy thud and a squeal. When Annie finally stopped her tumbling she attempted to push herself up, hearing the beating hooves become more distant. "Crap.."

"Trust me, I really don't want to go home." I said, curling up into a ball.

My tan face turned hot and I was red with embarrassment that I had been found out. "Are you okay?" I asked, sighing softly.

Collin laughed, rolling into his back. "Maybe a little, but that's beside the point. I was never a very active kid." He sais with a smirk.

Christie giggled and looked up at Luke. "She is so beautiful isn't she?" She thought about the look Collin have her earlier. "Collin doesn't want me watching Azy because he thinks that I'm getting defensive over her.. But she's not my baby, I know. It kills me sometimes, but I would never keep Azzy from her true parents.."

"It's not your fault.." I said softly."But he also knows it makes you feel bad sometimes.."

"Oh." I said, stretching out in the grass.

Christie shrugged. "Having a kid is supposed to be the best experience of your life.. I just don't want to miss out on it."

Collin chuckled, laying happily in the grass. "It feels great out today."

"Yeah me neither..." I sighed softly.

I shifted and laid on my back in the grass. That short sprint had felt good.

Collin smirked, wagging his tail happily. "Wanna go for a swim?"

Christie took a deep breath. "Maybe one day.." She said siftly, watching Azzy.

"Its the middle of the night, the water's probably freezing." I commented, smiling at him.

Azzy made grabby hands and me and I lifted her into my lap carefully. She shifted and curled up and watched her sighing softly.

Christie smiled happily. "That looks very natural, sweetheart. You'd be a great daddy."
