The Cycle (Dragon love/war) ~needs Sunstreak members badly!~

Ice was slightly annoyed, these dragons where on there land! So she went closer to the dragon who had been at the front (Violet) and growled even louder, she didn't feel like hurting dragons unless she needed to so she would see if intimidating them would work, so bared her teeth and out stretched her wings then made a loud roar, and tryed to make herself as big as possible. If this didn't work she was going to speak to the dragon, but possibly not with a nice tone.

Violet jerked away from the water and open her wings all the way, hissing at the dragon approaching her ((Ice)). She rose up onto her hind feet and flapped her wings a bit, but only halfheartedly. Violet felt a bit ashamed of herself. She was on their land, after all. I had no choice. She thought. Besides, I'm not alone; my whole clan agrees with me, sort of... anyways, we need the water.

Ice deceided to put her plan into action, she knew it was not the best of plans, but she didn't want a fight so she thought maybe this would work, well it would stop the fight, at least, if she was lucky. she walked over to the dragon, she looked like the alpha, she might not have been but you never no. "who are you? and why are you on our land???" (speaking to Violet) she paused "you know very well that this is Midnight clan land, and you have your own section of the great river!" her voice sounded cold and steely, just like the last Sunstreak dragon she had met there voice was the same, she didn't want to show any hint of kindness, not until she trusted this dragon.

Violet stepped back, and then said, in a slightly stiff voice, "I'm Sunstreak Clan's Alpha. We need water, and our part of the river is nearly dried up. Besides, plenty of Midnight dragons steal prey from our territory." Violet added in her defense.

Ice had no mercy for this dragon, wait she had said she was Sunstreak alpha, she must be the old alphas daughter! The old alpha was the one who gave her the scar on her back! "Your part of the river is fine, and those that crossed from Midnight had there, very sevire consequences, as you would know" she was getting angry, she HATED the old alpha! She was glad he was dead, he deserved it! But she didn't seem to share the same loathing for the old alphas child. But she didn't beleive they deserved to drink in our area of the river hmmm maybe the chicks did, but not the adults, they had there own area of the river.

A hint of a growl crept into her voice as Violet replied. "No, our part of the Great River is not fine." She snorted a puff of smoke out of her nostrils in anger. "It is dried up almost completely, and there are thick, thorny bushes all around it. And as for those that entered our territory to steal... well, they got the same that those few Sunstreak dragons who accidentally crossed received. I feel inclined to mention that dragon." She said, pointing with her tail to the dark gray, green winged dragon ((Thorn)). "He's the one who gave me this scar," She spread her right wing to show the dragon ((Ice)) the long scar in her wing membrane, "Just because I went over the border hunting a rabbit!" Violet glared at him angrily, then switched her gaze back to the golden-horned dragon ((Ice)). Violet could tell that she was loosing control of her temper. She shouldn't have told anyone that her Clan was weak, and especially that they needed water... and now she was just rambling about some injury she'd gotten 3 years ago! Perhaps it was just being in such close proximity with her father's murderers, or maybe today was just one of those violet-is-not-in-a-good-mood days.

Thorn raised his frill in protest to the accusation. "That wasn't me." He hissed angrily. He suddenly remembered the incident very clearly. "That was my brother. You nearly killed him." He said, fury slowly building up inside him. Calm down. That wasn't the only reason my brother died. She only severely weakened him which could have been why he died... but not necessarily. He thought, getting a bit sarcastic near the end.

Ice was losing her temper with this dragon (Violet) she didn't like her "Let me remind you, this part of the river, is NOT your land, your lucky we haven't harmed any of these dragons! We should attack you all right now for coming on to this land! But we haven't. And since we are bringing injuries from other clans in to this............" she paused "your father did the same to me! I accidently went over your land as a chick and he harmed me! So don't think your the only one who has been attacked from crossing the border. And i beleive whatever dragon did hurt you did the right thing for hurting you for coming over! If an animal comes over to our border, you cannot chase it anymore, it becomes ours. And the same if it happened to us. I'm sure if a Midnight dragon would have chased a rabbit over you would have jumped at the chance to teach them a lesson!!!!!!" She had snapped, there was a certain point she could go to without snapping and getting really reallly mad but the alpha of Sunstreak had made her snap, she wanted to kill this dragon (Violet) right now, but there would be no good reason for doing that, so she just had to calm herself down.

(Ice's mind) Calm down Ice..........Calm down....................The second you get the chance, give her what she deserves.....................Calm down.

"My father was a kind and honorable dragon. He would never harm a chick, not even one who crossed the border! And if we want to drink the water, who's going to stop us?" Violet said, letting off another puff of smoke. "I find it hard to believe that you liars and prey-thieves are very good fighters." Some of the other Sunstreak dragons behind her growled, and a few let off puffs of smoke themselves. Violet hissed softly and they silenced themselves. It's a bluff. She thought to them, knowing they couldn't hear. It's just a bluff! We can't risk our lives in another fight; perhaps they'll just back down.

"Oh your father would never harm a chick? You lie! He harmed me! I bet you hardly even knew your father! And how dare you call us liers! you can talk! Prey theives? PREY THEIVES???????" She lunged, but caught herself before she acctually hurt the dragon (Violet) she knew not to fight unless she had to "and who is going to stop you? Look around, its not just me, some of my clan is here with me! We could hurt you so much that if you ever had chicks even they would feel the pain of the blows we might strike!" then she thought back to something that had been said earlier in the conversation "So your clan needs water........and without water, you would die anyway" She smiled, it was a devious smile "So because your part of the river is dry, you must have not had a drink in a few days, maybe even weeks, which would mean you would be weak" she flicked her claw across the ground, making sure it was nice and sharp, as always it was "So, how would you fancy your chances? Oh high and mighty alpha?" she said the last part in a very sarcastic tone, knowing this dragon (Violet) wouldn't like the way she implied that this dragon (Violet) was weak and an awful leader.

Violet snarled at the dragon ((Ice)), something she hadn't done in a long time. "I knew my father better than anyone else! If you think that any Sunstreak dragon is weak, that's your problem! You'll regret it when we chase you away from your own river!" Violet snapped. She raised up onto her hind legs and roared loudly, opening her wings wide. The other dragons followed her example. Hopefully that would scare off the dragons of Midnight clan, because if it didn't Violet had no choice but to attack the alpha ((Ice)) because of all the insults. None of the dragons in her own clan would listen to her otherwise. I wonder how she gets her dragons to be so loyal. Violet thought. Maybe she's been alpha longer...
