Ember lowered his head between his paws sadly.

Bill just continued to pet Ember, there wasn't much he could do.

Friesia looked at her book, confused. "Hey Dain, remember that glowing ball we got a while back?"

"yeah?" Dain poked his head through the door.

Ember whimpered, he didn't realy like being like this...

"What exactly does that thing do...?" Friesia asked, looking up.

[Corporate Cannibal]

"kills demons, why?" Dain looked at her.

Ember whimpered, he didn't really like being like this...being so...fat and greedy is what lost him his first few homes...

"I have a little section on it in my book, but some of the pages on it are torn out..." Friesia looked a tad bit concerned.

Bill ruffled Ember's head fur. "I'm not gonna get rid of you, if that's what you're worried about..."

"Jesu maybe?" Dain asked, going back to get changed.

Ember yipped and wagged his tail.

Friesia shrugged. "Maybe..." She continued reading, wondering why Jesu would tear out a few pages on something Dain could have told her just as easily...

Bill smiled.

Dain came back out in clean cloths and finnished his coffee.

Ember's stomach growled loudly...he looked away from Bill...

Bill chuckled. "Alright, I'll go get you something..."
