It's annoying that I'm saying rats need company? Of course some rats will be fine as lone rats - but they are better with company.
I hate seeing so many people with lone rats just because they prefer that, that's hardly in the best interest of the rats.

'osuafgnasogn. Mother, why do you panic so much and stop me getting my rats out when the dogs are in the room? Can you not see that they are fine with the boys, and if the dogs show interest they only sniff at the rats. If anything, one dog is scared of the rats, the other just isn't bothered and the other loves them and wouldn't dare hurt them. Urrrrrgh.

Is there any real way to make a rat friendly cake or maybe mini cupcakes? I'm interested now as I know the bakery near us makes dog friendly ones.

On that website, right at the bottom theres a 'cake' for rats. It looks so cute >.< It's not really a 'cake' but if you can't find anything, it might do X3

My rat mum Rory has 11 babies but she keeps splitting them up and hiding a lot under the food dish. Should I just leave her or try and return the babies. She is OK with me touching them.

I advise a rat! most dogs had being held too and snakes.... I just dont like em that much(Despite us getting one soon) and yeah..

I love cornsnakes.. I've held more than one more than enough times.
They are a more calm breed of snakes.
Pitbulls happen to actually be my favorite animals. Not just dogs, I'm not a huge fan of smaller dogs sometimes.
A rat would be nice though, I love most animals and they happen to be higher up there

Corns aren't actually that calm, especially as babies they're pretty flightly. However they're amazingly easy to take care of as long as you do your research.. and don't skimp on any care supplies.
Hellbabe, if you're going to be the sole caretaker of said snakey, I'd avoid getting one. They take quite a bit of dedication, especially if you get a species that's harder to take care of...

Now something somewhat related to this thread, I'm glad people here aren't mindless snake-haters because of their diet.

I don't mind their diet at all. They have to eat like all animals so its fair enough honestly. I don't want one but my dad does as he has always had reptiles and our lizard died not that long ago and he would love a friendly snake.

I would never be able to feed it rats but I could give it a mouse or something as I don't honestly like mice. They stink and I have never had a good experience with one

Rat! Rats are so loyal and great little pets. You can cuddle and take them anywhere.
