Lorelai crossed her arms and sent an indignant glare over towards Evelyn as she turned Lorelai's own tease against her. "I do not stare!" At least, she didn't think she stared. "Ridiculously smitten looks are not my thing. I leave that embarassment to you." But then Evelyn and Cyrus were at it again, blabbing about Bob and weddings and the annoying hands that Evelyn never bothered to control. "Hm... So far I've only seen those things pop out to cause trouble. I'd suggest amputation, but it seems they've already got that covered..."

Evelyn had noticed something about her "hands" since they had started to appear; sometimes they'd be a woman's, sometimes they'd be a mans, sometimes they'd be dark skinned, tanned, or pale... sometimes they be jeweled or manicured, sometimes they'd be rougher than sand-paper... None of them looked anything like her own hands.
