You Can Make A Difference!

So in my english class a friend of mine gave a presentation about helping to end hunger and talked about this site called free rice.
what you do is you answer questions and for everyone you get right 10 grains of rice get donated for free.
since school is starting up this is a very useful study tool and can be used for all ages. you can change the subject of the questions to many different things. so if you were struggling in math you can change the subject to that.
also they have a SAT subject for highschool students.
not only are you helping yourself but you are helping people who need food.
a really good thing about this site is that it is not based on what you get right and wrong. it does not punish anyone if you miss a question by taking away any rice. you keep your number and just continue on

I got to 360 grains of rice before I got one wrong.

wow good job guys! im so glad that people replyied I thought it would have to bump it a bit

I got up to 300 grains before I had to stop, but I feel so good even when I just get 10 grains.
we who have food daily take it for granted. the few minutes that it took me to answer a few questions could feed someone for. 10 minutes equals a day of food.

just imagine if everyone went and answered just 10 questions correctly. 100 grains, thats a whole meal for someone.

also try to make it a competition with your friends!
you could make a board game out of it, answer a question advance a space.

I think this site deserves alot of recognition. everyone help spread the word!

School is starting soon, and my ELA teacher loves to help out people in need. So I bet if I showed her this website she'll get the class a day in the computer lab so we can all feed the hungry.

I think it would be very helpful for ELA students because it helps them learn the words and recognize them as well. and it also goes with your level. and it seperates the vocabulary from the grammer so that if you need a better understanding of forming sentences you can do that rather than the vocabulary.
when I was doing chemistry symbols I noticed that when I missed one it appeared later on. so Its possible the English may do that as well so you see the same question and are able to answer it correctly.

Oh and people who are looking at the site it also has subjects for other languages. I myself am thinking about doing the spanish. I know some spanish but not much so I think it would be very good
