(You are indeed correct. My beautiful Volt is a female. ;D Also I'm using this post as a recap of the teams so we can kinda keep track. Don't worry I'll play it in nicely. )
"Hey! Hey! Volt wake up!"

Volt Awoke from her dreams to Kiba's voice calling for her.

"Huh? What is it Kiba? Can't it wait?" She said rubbing her eyes sleepily.

"No it can not! We need to go get today's mission or we won't get one at all! Now hurry up and get up before we miss out!"

"Alright alright." Vold said with a sigh. "Just give me a minute to-"

"No time!" Kiba interrupted her. "We have to go now!" Kiba grabbed Volts hand and raced out the door as fast as his little feet could carry him.

"Slow down Kiba! What's the hurry anyway? We've never run out of missions before."

"There are some new rescue teams in town and if we dont hurry the new guys will get all the good missions!" Kiba said still dragging Volt along with him.

"Wait." Volt stopped in her tracks pulling Kiba back. "New teams? Like new Pokemon? Who?"


"Ahhhh!" Kiba fell on the floor from the sudden stop. "There are a few new Pokemon." Kiba said. He was obviously annoyed at her at this point. "There is team bone. They have a houndour and a squirtle. Then there is team fire bolt with a Pikachu and a charmander."

"Wait there is another Pikachu?"

"There are three others. Two males and a female. Now will you let me finish? Then there is team Soul with an eevee and a riolu. Team Zyrox with a skitty and an eevee. Team element shock with Pikachu and Dratini. Team 13 with eevee and mudkip. And Lastly Team Shinigami with a Pikachu and a Vulpix."

"Wow!" Volt said in astonishment. "Thats eight teams including us!"


"Yes." Kiba said, still annoyed at Volt. "Which is why we need to hurry. Now come on!" He grabbed her hand again and started to run to the guild center where all the Pokemon teams pick up their missions.

/Two male Pikachu?/ Volt thought to herself, blushing slightly. /I wonder who they could be.../

Mist slithered up to Riley. "Uh, Riley. there are alot of other teams in town, I think we might wanna go get a mision before there are none left!" She whispered.

Riley gave a start. He forgot there were other teams! He called to Kamalu. "Uh, we gotta go get a mission before the otehr teams get all the good ones! See ya around!" He called, before turning and dashing away towards the place where all the teams get their missions, with Mist slithering quickly behind.

Riley soon got to the guild center where the teams got their missions, both him and Mist panting heavily. Riley looked over his shoulder and spotted Kiba and Volt. "Hello there!" He called. "Here Mist, pick us out a good mission." He added to his partner.

Mist rolled her eyes and scoured the mission board, choosing a mission of finding an Electivire's lost child Elekid in Crystal Caves. Once she accepted it, she turned to Riley. "When your done mingling, I've got the mission."

[Blysse]

Volt and Kiba finally arrived in the guild center, both of them panting from running.

"Go...get...a mission" Kiba panted to Volt. "I think...I need...to sit down..."
Kiba plopped on the ground for a quick rest.

Volt turned to walk to the mission board when a voice called out in her direction.

"Hello there!"

It was a Pikachu! /It has to be one of the pikachus from the new teams/ she thought. /It's ok keep your cool!/

"Hello!" She called out to him and waved.

"Ugh. Why do I trust you to do anything?" Kiba mumbled under his breath. "I'll just do it" he said pushing by Volt, who was obviously too concentrated on the new teams to even think about a mission.

"Let's see...which one..." Kiba contemplated. "Ah ha! This one will do!" He grabbed a piece of paper from the wall and ran back to Volts side, who was still being distracted by the new teams.

"Here" He said extending the arm with the paper out to Volt.

Volt shook her head to clear her mind and took the paper. "Oh right. The mission. Let's see...Wait...A berry retrieval in Apple Woods? Are you kidding?"

"That's pretty much all that was left" Kiba glared at Volt.

"Oh haha." Volt said nervously. She hated it when Kiba was mad. He was scary when he was mad even if he was smaller than her! "Well that's fine. I mean at least we got one right? Haha."

Kiba glared at her for a moment and the signed. "Yea I guess your right."

/Whew./ Pikachu signed in relief. /Just dodged a bullet with that one./ She thought to herself. /Hey wait.../
Volt turned around to see Riley still standing there, but most Of the other Pokemon had left already.

Mist sighed and handed the mission thing to Riley. "Here."

Riley took the paper and looked it over. "Nice!" He looked up and saw Volt looking kinda down. He walked over. "Hey, what mission did you get?" He asked.

Mist sighed and slither after. Here went Riley.

[Blysse]

"Oh hello! Umm..." Volt started to blush. "I go uh...Um..." She stopped talking and handed him the paper. Usually Volt was an outgoing girl, but she had never met another Pikachu before. Much less a male!

Kiba slapped his face with his paw. "Oh Volt...."

Mist rolled her eyes as she came up behind Riley. Looked over at Kiba, giving him a look that said: Aren't they idiots?

Riley took the paper and read the mission Volt and Kiba would do. After he was done, he hadned it back to Volt. He to, was starting to blush. "If you want, We could.... Uh, swich missions. Me and Mist don't mind...." He trailed off.

Mist glared at Riley, her glare saying IDIOT! DON'T TRADE OUR MISSION JUST BECAUSE IT'S A FEMALE PIKACHU! IDIOTTTT! WHY AM I YOUR PARTNER?!

[Blysse]

Kiba's eyes lit up suddenly.

"Umm no its fine really..." Volt said shyly, blushing even more from the offer Riley had made.

"Actually we would love that!" Kiba butted in, pushing Volt aside.

"But Kiba..." Volt mumbled.

"Shush Volt let me handle this." Kiba whispered. "We would LOVE to swa-"

"Come with you!" Volt interrupted, covering Kiba's mouth. When she had realized what she said she started to blush again. "I mean if that's ok of course." She looked down nervously.

/Oh this is so embarrassing! But what could I do? Kiba was gonna take their mission.../

Mist slithered forward, butting Riley out of the way. "Actually, super sorry, but I'm... Erm, allergic to apples! So the mission wouldn't work. So sorry and have a nice day!" And with that, she wrapped her tail around Riely's waist and slithered away.

Riley sighed as he was dragged away by Mist. "Well, sorry! I hope to see you around!" He called as Mist dragged him towards the place their mission would take place.
