Brazenfire nodded and took the rabbit from Frostpaw.

Gremlinstorm mewed, "Patchfang, is it safe to give her the kits?"

Ice nodded to Angel and mewed, "Yeah, I'd like to be Iceflash again, it would make me feel more part of the clan."

[wolf ;;]

Frostpaw flicked her ears, then she went looking for more prey.

Patchfang nodded, and he looked at his sister.

Angel nodded, and she purred.

[walk.]

Amberpaw's silky pelt brushed throughh the trees as she went to find a rabbit she had scented, suddenly there came a screech and she cried, "Fox!!"

Gremlinstorm said to the kits, "This is your mum!"

Ice mewed, "Whe will the ceremony be, because Sunstar jut asked me to lead a border patrol."

[wolf ;;]

Gingerpatch, who had been hunting a squirrel, heard a screech and went towards the sound.

Frostpaw's eyes widened as she heard a screech.

Smallfrost purred, and she watched as one of the kits, a black and grey she-kit, stumbled forward towards her mother, eyes still closed, and she mewled.

Angel shrugged, and she flicked her tail. "I din't know, if Emberstar calls the meeting I'll tell him your on patrol and we have to wait."

[walk.]

Fastpaw listened and growled, shooting like a bullet towards the sound, he hadn't earnt the prefix Fast for nothing he cried out when he saw Amberpaw's body lying limp on the floor, yet she was still breathing. Her pelt was matted with blood.

A white Tom with four black feet padded forward, his eyes were already open and blazing a bright amber. One of the other toms, a grey and white patched Tom, same markings as Smallfrost also skittered forward, his eyes still shut.

Ice noded and went over to the gate to wait for the patrol.

[wolf ;;]

Frostpaw pelted after Fastpaw, and she gasped when she saw Amberpaw, then she saw the fox, and she hissed, pouncing forward and wrapping her front legs around the foxes neck.

The last kit, a black tom with white paws, padded forward with his brothers and sister, his eyes were grey, and he bumped into his sister, who squeaked and fell forward. Smallfrost smiled, and she nudged the she-kit to her paws.

Angel watched Ice, then she twitched her tail and glanced around.

[walk.]

Brazenfire shot like an accurate arrow through the undergrowth and said, "Back away from it! You will just make it angry!" he hissed at the fox and swiped at it.

The kit with huge paws, the black and white one padded forward and began pawing at Smallfrost's tail. The white and grey one staggered forward, crashing into the black kit.

Ice's tail torched anxiously, waiting for the cats to come.

[wolf ;;]

Frostpaw hissed and jumped off the fox as it snapped at Brazenfire. "I know how to deal with it! Get Amberpaw to camp!"

Smallfrost purred and watched the white kit with black paws paw at her tail, then she looked at Gremlinstorm. "Do any of them have names yet?"

The black kit squeaked with surprised, and he turned around, looking at his brother.

Troutcut, who had been asked to go on the patrol with Ice, padded over to the tom and twitched his tail.

[walk.]

Brazenfire growled and said, "Step back Frostpaw, I am a senior warrior, I know what these splash clan foxes are like, trust me! They are stronger than Night clan, but less sneaky with their attacks! Fastpaw, get Amberpaw to camp and get a large patrol!" Fastpaw nodded and got his sister on his back and began to run.

Gremlinstorm shook his head and murmered, "I wanted to wait for you!"

the white kit stumbled backwards in surprise, glaring at his brother.

Ice nodded to him and mewed, "How's Swanpoppy?"

Frostpaw rolled her eyes, and she turned away and was about to go to a tree, but she gasped as the fox grabbed her shoulder and lifted her up. She cried out as the fox broke her shoulder, and she slashed at the foxes eyes, it yelped and dropped her.

Smallfrost purred and flicked her tail. "Well, you can name the first one."

The black kit flicked his ears.

Troutcut twitched his tail. "She's great."
