"The Story of the Rune that couldn't find his Song"

"It was just after my discovery of the Dragonfly Rune that it happened. We were returning to the airport when Benathorn approached me with a completely irresistable offer: A chance to be a perminent member of the team. So overjoyed with the turn of events, I barely had time to stutter out my acceptance before I bolted for the service desk to change my flight ticket. I decided maybe staying in te jungle would bring more fortune my way. Connecting with a local biologist, I set out on another day of trekking into the mosquito and tiger-ridden forest, hoping to find yet another Rune. We camped for three days, constantly moving and keeping ahead of the group that followed a half day behind us. On the last day of our week long adventure, the only thing I had managed to collect were some dayflies for Aritu and some flowers for Serenity. Beside me walked Xurskay, my Ancient Rune mate that I had been lucky enough to bond with. He held my hand loosely, tugging at it whenever he saw something interesting. We were only about an hour from civilization when the forest came alive with the twittering of nightingales stirred from their midday slumber. The hazy sunlight filtered through the bamboo leaves, making for a romantic backdrop. Xurskay turned to look at me, and I to him, and our faces slowly moved towards each other, leaning in for the kiss that kept us addicted....

Suddenly a shrill screech filled the forest, breaking the beautiful music like a banshee from the depths of the underworld. It startled all of us, but what was even more surprising was that it was a Rune that had made that awful sound. Flying near to me, I noticed that it looked similar to the Peking Nightingales that were very common in this area. I remember the biologist had told me that a nightingale only got it's voice when it found its song; this handsome boy hadn't found his song yet. Beckoning it closer, Xurskay and I quickly bonded to it, and it travelled with us back to the airport and all the way back home. On the flight, I tried to teach it to sing and play music, but nothing seemed to interest it. Stroking it's soft chest feathers absentmindedly, I figured that its bondmate would hold the key to his voice, and time would only tell."

Story:
[size=85]I stand talking to SpartanAmethyst telling her how I was going to take care of the little rune and help him find his voice and that Grass and Spade are going to help to. I smile at the little rune as I say bye to Spartan and start to walk home talking to listovka about how were going to find his voice and how I bet it will be wonderful. When I walk inside and close the door Grass and Spade fly towards us and lands looking at pevista as he fly down to meet them then starts to chase them around my house. I smile then run up the stairs to get a raido.

A couple hours later were all listening to music on the radio as Grass, Spade, and listovka fly around trying to dance like me but can't I laugh and try to show them more slowly but they still can't get even through they seem to be enjoying themselves. As we go I soon make up a small dance for them and they seem to try to teach me how to fly even through I have no wings! We all laugh then lay on the couch I talk to them for a bit longer before falling asleep.

I wake up in the middle of the night and hear singing. I jolt up and hear te radio still on playing classical music. 'who ut that on?' i think to myself then see listovka sitting by the radio starting to sing! I stare shocked then start to sing with him.

When the song is over I smile and laugh saying "we did it! We found your voice!" me and listovka were so happy when that happened we woke grass and Spade and listovka showed them it was an awsome morning/night.

I love music and the concept of the rune. I plan to write a long story about how he found his song. What is written below is just the main bulk.

I really don't plan on it, unless he finds someone else with a song as pure as his.
Story:
The small rune lifted his head and tried to sing. Yet, his voice came as a loud wail. The birds in the trees flew away with fright. But, it was as much from the rune's screech as the other runes laughing at him. He wondered if he would ever find his voice. Then, he heard something almost as frightening as his call. A loud growl echoed thru the forest. It can from a large white dragon. She looked almost as upset as him. Only, she was large and seemed much more regal and proud. Even in her upset state.

Every other rune was sent soaring from the out burst. Which, seemed to be what the dragon intended. Yet, his curiosity made him stay where he was. The dragon slowly made it's way closer. Bushes flattening in it's path of accidental destruction. "Hello", it said in a rather welcoming voice. He could clearly make out every small detail of it. From it's aqua orbs for eyes to it's long white tail. He tentatively answered. But, it was so quite he doubted she could hear him.

"Well, that wasn't very pretty was it?", the white dragon said. Referring to his 'song'. He backed away in offence. The dragon just smiled. "I'm Nalik", she added. He just nodded fearfully. "Now, lets go find your voice."

Story:
A walk threw the forest was what drew my attention. A lonely little rune sitting on the ground. I stood in the bushes, watching the poor thing. He look hurt, he looked lonely. I saw that he rose his head and tried to sing, but nothing escaped those beautiful jaws.
I slowly stood up and approached the poor rune. I saw him slowly step back so i stopped and sat on the ground. With a hand outstretched the rune approached and seemed to be more happy. I smiled at him and picked him up. "I'll help you sing all day long." I said as the rune nodded.
We wondered the forest together, searching for a way to bring the rune his song. We searched the seas and the mountians, the heavens and the earths but nothing seemed to help. When we thought all was lost as I sat apon the ground, I heard something. The most lovelyest of tunes as I stood from by sitting area and approached. We found a wondering group that was playing the most beautiful of songs.
I looked to the rune and saw him swaying side to side and enjoying the tune. I smiled and with alittle encouragement, the rune opened his jaws and out came the most loveliest of songs I have ever heard in my life. I smiled so warmly as the rune sang about how I was the best thing he had ever met and how I helped him find the song he had missed.
I knew then we were the best of friends.

Nightshade.
I love Nightshade plants, and have tons of them scattered about my yard in real life. He also, for some reason, reminds me of nightshade plants, and so I decided to give him the name Nightshade. I think it is a nice, quite simple name, but a little unique at the same time, and I think it fits him. When I first saw him, I was going to give him the name Ala, which means Wing in Spanish, but it sounded more like a female name to me so instead I decided to name him Nightshade after gazing at him for a few minutes

Likes:
Whistling and playing "his" flute.
Nightshade's special song is his beautiful, melodic whistle, and his wonderful flute playing. I gave him my flute, and he plays it for at least two hours everyday along with his whistling. He often attracts many types of birds Lemon's garden, and Lemon has even started to put out feed for them so they will come more often to sing with Nightshade.
Nightshade plants.
Nightshade loves nightshade plants. Soon after he came to Lemon's cottage, he brought some nightshade plants to her garden, and now she has them all over her garden.
Cats.
Nightshade likes cats. He doesn't really love them, since they do sometimes chase the birds, but he does enjoy playing with Cattail, Lemon's kitten she found with Sparrow near a pond.
Resting in the shade.
Nightshade doesn't like to be in the sun a lot, and on hot summer day tends to find a nice, shady tree and sleep, sing, or simply rest under it, and especially loves sleeping under the crab apple tree in Lemon's garden.
Pomegranate tea.
Unlike Sparrow and Lemon, who like lemongrass tea, Nightshade loves pomegranate tea. He loves how it smells, looks, and especially how it tastes, and drinks a cup about every other day, sometimes more.
Peaches.
Nightshade adores peaches. He loves them, and Lemon has to almost always keep them around for him when he gets a craving for one. He just loves to sink his teeth into a sweet, juicy peach.
Dislikes:
Being alone.
Nightshade doesn't like to be alone. He needs company of either Sparrow, birds, or Lemon. If he is alone longer for a half hour, he gets bored and even a little sad.
Citrus foods.
Nightshade does not like citrus foods at all. He doesn't like how they taste or smell, and would rather tear his feathers out then eat just two citrus foods, such as an orange.
Crows.
The only bird Nightshade does not like. He finds their cawing obnoxious, and thinks his screech sounds better then their cawing. If one comes into Lemon's yard, he doesn't even mind when Cattail chases it away.
Rainy days.
Nightshade doesn't really like to get wet, and finds rainy days quite boring because even he gets a little tired of whistling all day inside and being stuck inside.
Spiders.
Believe it or not, Nightshade is terrified of spiders, no one really knows why. If he sees one, his feathers get ruffled and he flies as fast as he can away from it.
Popcorn.
For some odd reason, Nightshade does not like popcorn. One night, Lemon was eating some, and she gave a few pieces to Nightshade. He immediately spit it out in disgust.
Why do you want him?:
When I saw him, my heart skipped a beat, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to try for him at first, since it hasn't been that long since I won Sparrow. But I just kept coming back to him, and the more I gazed at him the more I fell in love with him. I finally decided to fill out the form for him, and I will put all my effort into my form. If I won him, I might possibly breed him with my first Rune, Sparrow, or simply make them good friends, as I think she could use another Rune companion, even though she is a prickly Thistle Rune. I love birds, and when I saw he was a Nightingale Rune I fell even more in love with him. He caught my eye right away, and I couldn't help trying for him. His colors, his tail, his markings, everything about him I absolutely love. If I won him, I would love him forever and would be filled with happiness at winning him. I may not be the best writer, but I will try my best. Thanks for the chance at getting this gorgeous Rune.

Story:

Since Nightshade had first come to my cottage, I had been trying to help him find his song, and so far his voice was still a screech. One morning, As I began to prepare some lemongrass tea, I whistled. Suddenly, Nightshade began to mimic my whistle, and it was the most beautiful whistling I had ever herd. I decided to try something. I grabbed my flute and began to play it, and it didn't sound very pretty. I handed it to Nightshade, and he played a wonderful tune on it. "Is this you're song?" I asked Nightshade. He looked up at me, and I think I saw a slight nod of his head before he began to play the flute some more. Nightshade had found his song, and all he had needed was a little help.
