Sheepasaurs are small, mountain omnivores that reside in the Rocky Mountain region of America. They are monotremes, or egg-laying mammals. They are very social, and live in small herds of twenty or so. Sheepasaurs communicate with body language and barks/whines, much like wolves. Wild berries, small rodents, and nuts make a meal for Sheepasaurs. Although they rarely encounter people, a few lost hikers will stumble into their territory once in a while, and the Sheepasaurs quickly scurry away to avoid contact. From a very young age, they are taught to never let humans see them, for fear of discovery and capture. But, a few will meet a very special human and bond with them. These Sheepasaurs make great pets, and will be loyal forever.

Adult Sheepasaurs are about watermelon-sized: five to ten pounds.

Sheepasaur eggs are the size of thimbles, and weigh about three ounces.
Sheepasaurs mate for life, and let their owners choose their mate. If they're wild, their parents choose their mate. Sheepasaurs can be bred up to three times, and lay one egg at a time. Different breeds can interbreed. Eggs take two days to grow up, and the design on the egg represents the design of the adult.
Males have horns, females don't. Male eggs also have horns. Sheepasaurs live for 30-35 years, about the same as horses. Will add more here later!
There are five breeds of Sheepasaurs, each with differing amounts of rarity.

The Kenali breed is the most common breed. Kenali Sheepasaurs have a natural base coat color with an unnatural design and design colors, like Fidelito, the mascot. 7-9 per herd.

Lassen Sheepasaurs are not as common as Kenalis, but not super rare. They have all natural colors, but an unnatural design. 5-7 per herd.

Frycen Sheepasaurs are not seen as often as Lassens or Kenalis. They have unnatural colors in natural horse/dog markings, say blue brindle or purple piebald. 3-5 per herd.

Lequoias are very rare. They have all natural coats, natural colors in a natural horse/dog marking. 1-3 per herd.

Royal Sheepasaurs are extremely rare, and have the most power in the herds. They have the most intricate designs, with natural markings and colors for a base coat, and unnatural colors in an unnatural design on top of that. So yeah, they fancy. 0-1 per herd.
