Alexandria sat on the edge of her bed, her head in her hands. Her phone vibrated, andher and Andrew chanting "FRIENDS FOREVER FRIENDS FOREVER" cut through the air. She reached over to it, and with a shaky hand, slid her finger across, and said, "Hello?" She felt like crying, her will had been broken. She barely talked to anyone, she had stayed silent for a while, not having anything to say. All because of this boy, who she loved more than she loved herself. She waited for a response.

Amber ate her sandwich pleasingly. "Mhhmmm." She thought it was delicious.

Andrew felt relieved. His voice was light-hearted. "Ali." He said, knowing she preferred that more than Alex. Hen they were young, he remembered playing on TE beach with her and making sandcastles. He had accidentally called her Ali, and she lived it ever since.

Alexandria felt her heart squeeze and contract at the same time. Hearing his vooce was like rubbing salt into an open wound. She took a shaky breath, and said "Andrew..." her voice trailed off, she didn't know what else to say. Her green eyes searched the floor for an answer, and she pulled her fingers through her hair.

Andrew smiled to himself. "How is your foot? Has it healed correctly?" His voice was caring and soft, gentle as ever.

Jason had gotten a very romantic candy light private table. He say down as their food arrived and he smiled at her.

Alexandria looked at her bandaged foot. "It's been better, I guess. It's still enflamed and all and I can't really move it..." she sighed, and then laid down on her bed, one hand on her stomach. She faced straight up, and stared at the sky, the window in her cieling. She stuck her foot on a pile of pillows, followingthe doctar's orders.

Andrew nodded, twitching his mouth. "Ah. It'll get well soon."

Amber smiled at Jason, the one she loved. She took a bite, finding it immediately delicious.

Jason had put a ring on one of the bread sticks earlier. He smiled and took a bite of his food.
