Sagd grew wide eyed as Tigerstar came to her view.Thats him..why must I do this,why did I agree!she frowned and gazed to all the old and new warriors.she looked to sky and sighed.Father what would you do if I back out of the deal?she asked in thoughts but knew he wouldnt answer.Mother,I hope you okay.she mumbled something and watched the rest of the ceremony.she smiled at the medicine cats.J dont even want to be a leader,do I?I just want my father to be proud.

Spotty watched the clan meeting brightly; she hadn't realized till now how much she had missed these.

the voice of her fauther whispered in the wind "do it! want me to be proud? do it!"

tigerstar stood there smiling and said "this meeting is over. if anyone has any questions or things to talk about, just come on in" he jumped down and went inside his den, he started to stretch and do some training because of how big the den was

shatteredleaf went over to him and smiled "youve done good bracken, youve done good."

Sage winced at his voice.she glanced around and saw spotty.she sighed and walked in after Tigerstar a few moments later."Excuse me,tigerstar?"

"yes.....sage right? what is it?" he said smiling as he got up with his muscles showing under his pelt

Sage nodded,smiling weakly as she stared at his muscels."i uh..was wondering if you would like to eat with me!"she mumbled,having andm idea.

"shure! where and what would you like?" he said smiling but noticing she was kindy weary and said "dont worry, you dont need to be scared of anyone, especialy me. i have no time to deal with mean stuff. im having........love trouble. with my kits comming from coalfeather and flickerpool still loving me. ugh its too much to handle." he kept smiling and stood up "but you dont want to hear about my love life. when we get the prey, why dont you tell me a bit about yourself?"

Sage eyes widen like she saw a ghost.Kits..hes going to be a father!"uh..i-it doesnt matter,infact..ill..ill..go pick it out.you stay here."she frowned as she left the den and to food pile.she picked out two plump mice but slit one mouse open and slipped a death berry in."Starclan help me."she whispered and picked up the two mice and padded back to he den.

he smiled and said "thank you sage. you know out of many cats in this clan your one of the only ones i can trust!........" he took a bite and said in a muffled mouthfull "it tastes funny." he swallowed it and looked at the mouse. to see a death berry. he stood up and yelled "SHATTEREDLEAF! I NEED YARROW NOW!" he tensed his muscles and looked around. shatteredleaf came in and saw the death berry and hissed "who would do this?" and then almost simotainiously they said "Flickerpool!"

Sage flattened her ears and stood back in fear as shatterleaf came in.she felt horrible but didnt show it.Flickerpool would get in trouble for what she did!she watched both toms with saddened eyes.
