The short summary of my new LiLo fanfic I'm writing:

It was all just a joke. It wasn't supposed to happen like this, but it did. A little joke that everybody took too seriously. The world's biggest boy band, One Direction, are in the middle of an interview. Louis Tomlinson, being the joker he is, tells the world that he and bandmate Liam Payne are in a relationship. He intends for it to be a joke, but everybody believes him.

Management is furious. If he tells them that it was just a joke that caused all this uproar, they'll kill him. So they tell management that it's true, and their managers say that they have a month to sort out what's going on. After that month, they are allowed to be together. But if there are anymore problems during that month, they are forced to break up. Liam, being a great friend, goes along with it.

But now the two are forced to fake being together whenever they're in public. Because of that, Louis starts to develop feelings for the younger boy, though he forces them away. Their relationship is just a joke; Liam would never actually want to be with him.

Right?
