Secrets in the Clans (More cats please!)

[Kano-Shuuya]

Mistpaw looked around and sighed she had lost the trail.

Oceanheart licked her paws.

Wildheart padded out of Redstar's den and thought. Who else had ever done anything a bit odd, and hadn't given a good explanation? She headed over to the medicine cat's den. "Oceanheart?"

[Kano-Shuuya]

Oceanheart's head shot up as she heard her name, "Yes?" Oceanheart said.

Wildheart looked at the medicine cat seriously. "What happened that time you fell in the river? You were down there for ages. When you came up, you were barely coughing. What REALLY happened? Because I have my suspicions about the story you told."

[Kano-Shuuya]

Oceanheart looked at her, "Starclan saved my life." she said simply.

"Are you sure there's nothing else you can think of that might have possibly happened?" Wildheart was skeptical. "Trust me, I can believe a lot of things. But what you just said doesn't sound right."

[Kano-Shuuya]

"Are you saying I should have just drowned and left this clan without a medicene cat." Oceanheart huffed out and began to stalk away, more from fear that Wildheart had seen her underwater.

Wildheart was shocked. "No! Of course not. It's just that StarClan isn't known to intervene whenever a cat could die - even a medicine cat. I just think there's something you're not telling me." She moved so she was blocking Oceanheart's way. "Look. It's fine if you want to keep your secret. I have a secret too. So do some other cats in our Clan. Maybe in the other Clans, too. I found out who some of those cats are - in our Clan, at least. Now I know their secrets, and they know mine. I have reason to think your secret is like ours. Well, not exactly, but similar in some ways. I would really appreciate it if you told me your secret. If you did, I would tell you mine in return. Would that be okay?"

Oceanheart's shoulders instantly drooped, "It's not right it's not fair. I'm not who I am.........I fell into the river and I drowned, or at least I thought I did. When I thought there was no hope left I began to breathe again, but I was underwater still. It scared me to death, so I went to speak with starclan, but they wouldn't see me. They haven't talked to me since. I'm not a true medicene cat." Oceanheart sighed.

Wildheart purred weakly. "If only you could enter other cats' dreams instead of breathing underwater," she said, her voice a bit painful, remembering the dream she had every night. Why did he always ignore her? She had thought they had been friends, at least. But he had never spoke to her again, not after the last time... She snapped back to the present. "Well, at least you were born a Clan cat. Me? Everyone knows I wasn't born in the Clans, and the truth is," she dropped her voice to a whisper, "I wasn't born a cat, either."
