Ember wagged his tail happily.

"It's alright." He smiled, hugging her still.

Bill nodded and took Ember inside.

Friesia smiled a bit, she was safe in Dain's arms, and that was where she wanted to be.

Ember limped inside and followed Bill to a table, he laided by Bill's feet.

Dain held her close, no one hed ever stayed with him once they knew...

Bill ordered for himself and told the waiter what Ember wanted.

Friesia looked up at Dain. "What happened...?" She asked softly. "Don't answer if you don't want to, I just wanted to know how such a thing could happen to you..." She put a hand on the side of his face that was still whole.

Ember licked Bill's feet happily.

"I don't know..." Dain sighed. "I woke up and my face...burnt...when the pain stopped...it was just...gone."

The waiter came back with the food after a little while, it had taken a long time to make all of it!

Friesia shook her head. "That's awful," she said, laying it on Dain's chest again.

Ember wagged his tail happily.

Dain went quiet and ran his hand through her hair.

Bill set Ember's food in front of him and quietly ate his.

Friesia closed her eyes and twitched her ears happily. "I love you, Dain."

Ember wolfed down his meal hapily, wagging his tail.

"I love you too." Dain smiled.

Bill finished his dinner and looked at Ember. "Wow, you certainly know how to eat..."

Friesia smiled a bit. She didn't move, she was perfectly comfortable standing there with Dain.
