Also, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having an unlocked group labeled "NEFT" or "NFT", or having a pet in an unlocked group named "NFT" or "NEFT", regardless of how many E's there are. Any offense taken to a showcase group or showcase pet is by fault of the trader, not of the owner of the pet.
I honestly don't care whether or not your pet is named "NFT" or in an group labeled NFT. I mean, no, I'm not going to be blissful that you're showcasing a pet I want, but I'm not gonna be stupid and offer on it.
But really, I don't find it entirely practical to say "_____ is NFT" in your rules rather than name the group/pet itself to save YOURSELF trouble, especially with high demand pets. :/
It doesn't help with high demand pets. People will still offer. They'll see it, not bother to read the pets name or the group name and forgot your rules entirely as they offer on it.
Everything in an open group is fair game; because everything has it's price. It doesn't matter how many times you repeat that it's not for trade...
To the first part of your statement, that is not the owner's fault. It is the trader's fault. People may still offer, and the owner may still cancel. This can go on infinitely.
No, everything in an open group is not fair game, and it honestly is a bit stumping to see you say that. If someone says something is not for trade, and they mean it, guess what? It's not for trade. "But I have a---" "Nope." "But this is---" "Nope." "But you---" "Nope."
If the owner of the pet trades it for any offer, regardless of how fantastic, after labeling it "NFT", they never meant that it was NFT, and they should never have labeled it so.

Don't give up. It was hard for me to find, doubly so because I was trying to fair swap it for a clockwork bun. But it eventually happened. Now finding the brown...that's a challenge.
When you go to trade wishlist pets with someone and they cancel because, for some reason, even though the pet is on their wishlist they don't actually want it.
I'm not going to give up, I NEED that stupid horse for my story, but I am rather depressed about it... Gah.
And the "I don't want this pet on my WL" thing. What the derp? I can understand not wanting to overpay for your WL pets, and even only wanting to collect them for the sake of a complete collection, but that doesn't mean you don't want it.

I was hacked. Not going to remake all my groups and such unless I feel like it. That's a lotta work. Don't bother with trades, everything's a mess.
Need:

Will offer
reasonable overpay.
.Note to self:
Reduce idiot level.

This is why I'm only here to get pets to pay for art.

With that kind of logic, everything in a closed group is for trade too. :/
Even if it is opened and NFT, why can't you respect the fact that the other user would like you to refrain from offering on their pets/groups?

THIS THIS THIS.
Oh gog, I hate trading for missed outcomes. It's like, no one wants to give up the pet you ACTUALLY need, but instead they'll give up a pet that you just don't want at the moment.
Then, you later realize how much you wanted the pet they offered after you cancelled. </3

I laughed. Really, if you want to scam someone that is way to obvious
Hmm. I decided I don't mind if the person goes to a mod for a trade back, I was better off without it anyways

Did I ever say it was the owners fault? No, I didn't. I was just pointing out that it doesn't matter how many times you say not for trade, or how many Es you put in NEFT people will still offer.
And LOL, okay buddy. xD
Everything does have it's price; I know this for a fact.
I lost count how many "NFT" pets I got because I offered the right thing.
I can guarantee that if someone offered a Sunjewel, or anything else on the high end (or hell, even ON the rares list) for something that they have labelled "NFT" they will accept it. (As long as it's overpay. It goes without saying that no one is going to trade a Toxic for a Rose PPS, but I thought I should point out that I'm speaking about overpay here.)
Yes, they mean it when they say not for trade. But when you offer a large enough overpay, they do trade the pet. I've done it enough times that I know this.
@Jade Harley--> Technically everything in locked groups would also be for trade for the right price as well. BUT, the thing with locked groups is; not many people want to go looking through all of your groups looking for one pet they might want to offer on. There is no "pets on your wishlist" option when looking at through someone's groups; so it's less likely that they are actually going to find a pet they want to offer on. Which is why, if you don't want people to offer on the pet, it's logical to lock it. Yes, people WILL still PM (or send trade suggestions) asking for a pet in a locked group; but the number of people asking for those locked pets are significantly fewer than those asking for the pets if they were opened to trades.
