Coalheart stared at the warriors and apprentice, shocked.

Swallowpelt listened from the nursery. She could hear the fighting, but she couldn't see it. She looked at Frozenflower, who was closer to the entrance. "Can you see?" she asked.

I shook my head, "No, Mistypaw. I don't." I stepped off the Snowrock. "Your brother and his mate clearly don't want me in the clan anymore, so I'm leaving." I turned tail quickly, and gingerly fled through the enterance of camp, not bother to take a backwards glance. I ran towards the border. Jemelle's border. Hopping skillfully across, I looked up, cheeks wet from salty tears. "Jemelle.!" I calle weakly, my voice hoarse. "Jemelle come out-" I was cut off by a giant fox-sized companion appearing out from the bushes.
"Inky.?" Jemelle asked, burying his nose in my fur as a rather friendly greeting.
I nodded in response. "I-I've come to live with you.." I mewed quietly, while Jemelle cackled with happiness.
"I knew this day would come.!" He exclaimed. "The day where you chose ol' me over those filty dung-cats.!"
I laughed a little. "There not Filthy Dung cats.!" I mewed, "Their mannerless, filthy, dung cats.!"
Me and Jemelle fell over laughing. I was happy to be in my new home.

[Pomme De Terre]

Mistypaw broke into tears. "Oakpaw!" She cried.

Stonepike shook his pelt and licked his chest. "Whatever!" He said rolling his eyes.

Coalheart stood and quickly padded out of camp. He thought he should follow Oakpaw, since he was his mentor, after all.

Stonewind turned and went to the warriors den to sleep.


Mistypaw followed Coalheart. "Why Oakpaw!" She cried.


Ashang shook his head and Snowfire looked at the tunnel to the forest.

Coalheart turned around when he heard Mistypaw. "Go back to camp," he whispered.

"No!" Mistypaw hissed at Coalheart. "Oakpaw was my-" She stopped. "I caught Oakpaw`s scent here!"
