Ingavar padded over to the cub, flicking his tail. "where is your mother? where do you belong?" he demanded.

Zimiri looked up at Ingavar, surprised but curious. "Oh, umm...I don't...have a family."

[KingTulip]

There was a flash of sympathy in his eyes, but then it was gone. "good. pride cubs are nothing but trouble here." he grumbled.

Zimiri looked a bit confused. "Pride?"

"yes pride. you know, the lions the live up at the rock." he pointed to it in the distance. "the ones who think they're better than us." his eyes grew dark, troubled by memories.

Zimiri looked at the rock, then back at Ingavar. "I'm Zimiri." he introduced himself.

[KingTulip]

"ingavar." he told the cub his name. "so i suppose you're gonna go running off to the rock then?" he said rather flatly.

"I don't know." Zimiri shrugged. "I don't have a home."

(I want him to end up being a pride lion. The outcasts can take him in and try to make him one of them and then the pride saves him.)

Ingavar snorted. "none of us have a home. except the pride lions."
