Darkstar was a little surprised at the question, and he had to think for a minute."Well, before I became Deputy and leader of this clan, the Deputy's name was Rainwhisper" he began."The leader's name was Skystar, but she retired as an Elder so Rainwhisper took lead of the clan.She chose her new Deputy to be a cat called Silverfang, but Silverfang was killed on a thunderpath a few days later" he mewed shaking his head."Rainstar let the clan decide on a new Deputy, and they chose my older brother but he refused to take the rank.In the end Rainstar convinved me to become Deputy" he shrugged, wondering if his story had been to long for Twilightpaw.
