Personally, I usually send a polite message if a trade's been cancelled, just to say not to worry about it, and thank you for their time :>

It got me a friend once! Being polite also keeps you off this thread ;D

I cancel with "No thanks."
Then I get another, and one more that's exactly the same, both saying "Can I at least have this :c"
Then I look back to see that one was cancelled by the user and the other was auto-cancelled.

..Anyone else confused?
