Heh. Usually I like to photograph them outside, but it was late at night by the time I managed to get a camera. So I just used my big blanket as a backdrop. What's neat is that the green and yellow Wyrms, both have glow in the dark plating. It's a non-genetic trait, but I love it anyways (ie. I don't think it would carry to offspring). Drake's banding glows, too. I get waaay too excited about stuff like that, which is probably why I'm so looking forward to Morgan x Sour glow-babies.

So, after some discussion today...

The yellow Wyrm became - Twitch.
The green Wyrm became - Fidget.
The purple Wyrm became - Aura.

Edit: Also, people who had Wyrms who had the Horn (XX) trait will notice they are being changed to Horns (Plural). The 'Horns' trait can represent any of a number of different types of horns, including single, double, and multiple styles. The type that shows on the offspring are determined by what their parents have.

So, basically the Horn trait is being merged in with the Horns trait.

Arazia: Do you know if HMS is mulling over the breeding guide you talked about? This is in no way rushing her or you since I know you both work really hard, I was just wondering if it was in production at least a little because I'm excited to see it ^^

So first off, spent the past 24+ hours trying to battle a 102 degree fever with Zoe, who apparently got someone's crud this past convention. Her fever spiked to 103 last night, and we headed to the doctor this morning to get her looked at. Fever seems to be down for now, but it fluctuates between 98-100, so going to play it safe. Apparently it's not too TOO bad, but we need to keep her quiet and hydrated. Canceled her birthday party for Saturday, which is sad, but have to get her healthy. Poor kiddo, [censored] way to spend the days after your birthday. :p

So, needless to say I've been busy, things have been crazy, and a tad stressful. Please bear with me, I'm getting things done and responding to notes and comments as quickly as I can.


WYRMS- summer teacup babies are all going out Monday, with their info cards, egg charms, AND a FREE Handlers chain for each package. I'm truly sorry for the delay, and hopefully this will serve as a bit of an apology for the wait. You've all been awesomely patient, and I thank you for that. Ditto on all other items that need to be sent out. MASS mailing on Monday morning (my post office is going to haaaaaaate me, lol!) and anything and everything I owe folks will be going out then, with the exception of Kai's Wyrms, since I am waiting on the fur for her Standard to come in.

I will be posting a write up on the Wyrm genetics, and how they work, to the DA group and having Arazia copy it up on the wiki for easy viewing. There WILL be a slight difference between the Teacups, and the larger sizes. It makes things easier for me to chart and, more importantly, sculpt. Because to be brutally honest, trying to cram 23 different traits on a Wyrm head that's only bout an inch long is just.....ridiculous. So, I've decided that, for the Teacups at least, I'll be using my modified system of charting the genetics. The standards and above will be charted using full Mendelian genetics, which will allow for more traits to be bred into a single Wyrm. (because hey....they're bigger, and easier to sculpt with all sorts of crazy details)


DRAGON SPICE!!! - We are finishing grinding and blending all of the peppers, and I will post a journal Monday to open for orders. Not 100% sure how many jars we will have yet, but it looks to be a good sized batch. Will mention in the journal how many jars of each I have, and once they are gone, they are gone until we make another batch. (might do one more in the fall, have to see how things go) I'll be bringing a limited number of jars to Furfright, along with the Dragonbites chocolate.

Oooh, I really have these nice three breedings in mind. Now only to consider the money.

Right now I have $34 which means I could get one from the new handlers clutch, or one from breeding. With 12 a week, by December I'm sure I'll have enough for three breedings since they'll all be shipped together which is only plus 6 dollars or maybe a little more considering package size.. -ponders-
