Maine nodded, and slipped the chip into the slot in his helmet. A cool sensation went through his body as he felt something in his mind. Hello Agent Maine. A voice said and Maine growled. I did not appreciate you throwing me out back there... Sigma trailed off, and Maine grunted and clenched his fists as pain ran through his body. So, I'm going to punish you, slowly and painfully. Sigma said, an angry edge to his voice, and sent another wave of pain through Maine.

Sigma, stop it, Beta ordered her 'brother' as she appeared on Zoey's shoulder. "Sigma, you mess with Maine, you mess with me as well," Zoey said as she narrowed her eyes at Maine, but really at Sigma.

"Stop it Sigma! Please, stop it." Maine growled as he feel to his knees. Sigma appeared next to Maine. I am merely punishing you Maine. I am not trying to kill you, and as for you two... Sigma said ad he turned to Zoey and Beta. This is between me and him, so stay out of it. He then disappeared again, and Maine let out a slight whimper. "Stop..." He muttered.

"If you involve one agent, Sigma. You are involved with all of us," a voice said as Tex walked out of a room. Zoey turned as she saw her friend. Sigma, there is no need to punish Maine. He has done nothing wrong to you, Beta said as she stared at Maine. "That's right. It is my fault that Maine pulled you out," Zoey said as she took off her helmet.

Maine reached his hand up and tore the chip from his helmet. He gasped with relief as the pain stopped. "I can't do this..." He growled as he slowly stood up.

Wash looked at Maine, worry on his face.

"What are you going to do Maine? If you use the chip Sigma will hurt you, if you leave it out the director will have him implanted in your brain...?"

"Give me the chip, Maine," Tex said as she held out her hand for the chip. "The Director won't know as long as the chip is in an agent," she explained as she looked at Zoey, Wash and York.

"No." Maine growled. "Sigma is my problem, and mine alone." He said and clenched his fists. "Let me talk to him, alone." Maine said, and left before anyone could say anything.

"Wait! Maine!" Wash called after him, unsure of what to do.
