Dakota saw the dog that had helped him before so he sat and waited for her to reach him. He could tell it was her by her scent. It was warm and smelled nice.
Lea realized it was the dog she had hoped. She let out a bark, inviting him over. "Iv'e got a bit of food for you, maybe more normal for you." she said.
She walked forward so they were within normal talking. "Star still is mad at you. We'll have to go in private." She said, nudging the steak closer towards him.
Dakota grinned. "The one I hit with a deer?" He felt much more comfortable around her now than he did the last time the had spoken. He decided she could be trusted.
"That's the one." She laughed. "Go ahead and eat up." Ma it was fun hanging out with him. She felt like they had more in common then most the dogs she'd hung out with before.
Lea yawned slightly and laid in the snow. She looked at the woods, remembering when they'd met. Nt long ago, but he had been hurt. She looked at his paw again, seeing what it looked like, and if it's been infected.
She could tell it had gotten better, but there was still the matter of dried blood. She began licking it, the crimson stuff slighty fading off and peeling away to show fur once again.
