That's just a tip, if you want the pets for your collection, well, then make the trades like you want.
But, if you want to trade them away, then you have to know what other people want.
And you can just say what "most" people want, don't get me wrong. And no, rats are in no demand and they've never been in a great demand, at least I haven't notice a rat boom.

So if you pay no attention to the demand, then you might won't get that far. And that's just my experience, so it is just my opinion. The most wanted species are Dragons - Lions - Dogs, in that order, just if you ask me.

And I made many mistakes of that kind during "my CS life"

For me:

Rats>Foxes>Nick pets.

Ok, I know not everyone is up on rarities and pet values, but I just got a trade offering 3 Very Common pets for a Mowhak Punk dog.

They're from '09, which doesn't necessarily mean they know how to trade. But I can't even explain this one away with rarity math. D: I mean, they were nice in the message and all. So I did try to edit, but they don't have anything to work with at all.

I dunno. I give up.
