"I know." Lionfoot murmured, and he flicked his tail. "I'm not going to leave, but I don't know what to do or who to stay loyal to anymore."

Skypaw flicked his ears, and he ran ahead to Emberstar. "Emberstar...you know how our territory caught fire?"

[walk.]

Nevafang nodded knowingly and mewed, "It's very hard isn't it, especially for you. But Lionfoot, think. Who in battle would you fight for if Night clan and snow clan fought?"

Emberstar turned to Skypaw and shrugged and mewed, "Probably some careless Twolegs apprentices Skypaw."

[wolf ;;]

Lionfoot thought about this, then he shrugged. "I don't really know...I would want to fight for SnowClan, but I wouldn't want to fight against my former clanmates."

Skypaw nodded. "Anyway, I was going for a walk thought our territory, and everything was burnt...except for camp."

[walk.]

Nevafang sighed, getting up and the pretty she cat went off to the den to see her sister Willowmoon.

Embersar mewed, "How? The fire was heading right for camp when we fled, it must have been touched, or at least charred? Surely!"

[wolf ;;]

Lionfoot watched her, then he looked at the sky again.

Skypaw shook his head. "No, the trees around the camp were burnt, but the camp itself hasn't be touched by the fire at all!"

[walk.]

Nevafang watched her mate and sighed.

Emberstar's eyes went wide and mewed, "That is impossible! Star clan must have blessed us!"

[wolf ;;]

Skypaw nodded. "What do we do now? The camp hasn't been touched, so we can go back!"

[walk.]

Emberstar mewed, "It's not safe, we have no territory and have to travel for half a day to go hunting, we'd best not go back just yet."

[wolf ;;]

Skypaw flicked an ear, then he nodded. "Your right." He meowed. "If Thornslash stayed in camp while the fire was going on, and the camp wasn't touched, I think a patrol should go to find his body so some cats can sit vigil for him."

[walk.]

Emberstar nodded and mewed, "Yes, I'll send a small patrol. It would be good, but only his immediant family will sit with him, like Rosepetal and Angel and Pondweed and if Rosepetal wants, you four as well."
