I suppressed a sigh, and looked around. Graystripe had deserved it more than I, because I killed her best friend. My eyes sparkled sympathetically as I remembered the feeling of my claws sinkin into the young apprentice's bones. I flattened my ears against my skull, baring my teeth in anxiety. I lifted my gaze to Fernpaw in silent awareness, and then moved back to staring blankly into nowhere. "Oh.." I mewed rather bluntly. "Hey." My tone remained bored and troubled. I wanted to open my eart right here an right now to Fernpaw, but everyone was around me. I couldn't pour out my emotions, or how the thought of a well loved cat's death was my fault in the middle of camp.! That would surely get me killed, if not banished at the least.
