It was her job to find human children and bring them to her mother, and this was one of her favourite songs to do so.

Oliver stopped on his tracks and his ears flicked, he knew that voice well enough, he had been hearing it ever since he was a small kid wandering through the white castle. He let a chuckle escape his lips as he turned human and followed the voice of the creature he treated as some sort of sister. He hid himself by a bush where he could see her and pulled his bow out as well as one of the arrows.

Kaiiyen was still singing, making an ice sculpture. She was using a bird for a reference, which was sitting up in the tree. She didn't touch it, doing so would turn it into ice or stone. And she's feel pretty bad then. Ice and frost flowed softly from her hands, as she shaped the wings, bringing it outwards to make it look like it was flying.

Oliver tensed the arrow on the string for a moment aiming on the sculpture she was making before following her gaze up and seeing the bird sitting on the tree. He thought for a moment before letting the arrow go with a low rustling sound as it flew and a small and soft thud sound a screech of pain from the bird before it fell off the tree to the snow below it.

She jumped and gasped. She saw the arrow and that was all she needed to see. She turned away, trying hard not to cry. "Oliver, that wasn't funny!" The sixteen year old girl said, clearly upset. "That poor bird!"

The kid giggled coming from the place he was hiding and placed the bow on the holder his quiver had and walked up picking the now dead bird up from the snow and taking the arrow back, "poor bird?" he rose an eyebrow, "I seriously wonder who your father is... you look nothing like mother when it comes to this things" he muttered narrowing his eyes slightly.

She looked away, crossing her arms. She scowled. Her father was a touchy subject, mostly because she didn't know if she even had a father, of if she was just made from ice and such, then given some life essence and bam! Instant daughter. "What are you doing here anyways, Oliver?" She demanded.

Oliver blinked and kicked some snow, "hum... hunting?" he murmured. In fact he was on his way to a forbidden place, after all they weren't supposed to go there, specially him that wasn't even exactly a teen yet. "I got a new bow a-and quiver... I just wanted to test it out" he said and looked up at her, "you?"

She crushed the ice sculpture with her bare hands. "Looking for the Children, obviously." She said, picking up her ice sword. "And if Mother finds out about us being here when we're not, we'll both be grounded." She considered the boy as her younger brother. She had to look out for him. "So make sure you don't get seen, okay? I didn't see you here, and you didn't see me either, got it?"

Oliver nodded slightly, "I saw no one" he said and looked around frowning before looking at her, "you really believe there...exist... humans here?" he asked.
