"He seemed alright when I met him at the pound." Dain shrugged.

Ember licked his cheek, seeing there was something bothering him.

Bill looked at Ember and smiled. "It's okay Flame, I was just thinking about this job offer I got."

"That's good." Friesia was relieved. She'd been to the pound before, those people were usually nice.

Ember tilted his head slightly, keen to know more...

Dain smiled at her.

"It sounds like a nice job, helping keep peace and whatnot, and it'd help with the food bills, but..." Bill shrugged.

Friesia gave Dain a small smile back. "How long ago did you ask him?"

"few days ago." Dain shrugged.

Ember wagged his tail happily.

Bill smiled a bit. "You know, I may just accept. Now that I think about it, it'd do me some good to have a little change."

Friesia flicked her tail. "Cool. Well, I hope turns out to be a good Horseman."

Friesia laughed a little, it was more than she'd done since Ember left...
