The Riders of dragons (Open!)

Forest's dragon squeaked as it broke from the shell. It looked at her and squeaked again. Forest reached over to it and picked it up. "...Hey little guy" she said with a smile. He let out a small rumble, like a growl. "Leave it on for now on" the youngest half brother said, putting Forest's mom's necklace around her neck. "Huh? I forgot this!?" Forest said. She sighed at her own stupidity. "How cute" the brother said, looking at the dragon. It didn't pay attention. It just stared at Forest's blind eye.

Bane's dragon let out a small sound as it hatched fully. He caught it and landed, looking at it. "Your a girl, no question about that. No guy can be so adorable" Bane said. The white dragon chirped.

"I can already tell you are going to be cool" Damon said. His dragon glared at everyone nearby, not as much towards Forest and her dragon than the others though. It opened its mouth and snapped it shut.

Ashia watched as her egg split straight down the middle. A gold little beast sat, staring up at her curiously. Ashia reached forward tentatively. Her hand touched the golden head of the hatchling and she felt a connection to the beast.
"His name is Shardis." she declared.

Meanwhile, Jaye still waited anxiously for his egg to cracks. Small cracks spread slowly about the egg, in no hurry to fully open. Finally, when the entire egg looked like a two year old had scribbled on it, it broke. The small pieces fell like shards of glass, revealing a blue beast curled up into a ball. It glanced up at Jaye, then yawned sleepily. It stood up, then, as if it where some bothersome obligation,did a little awkward waddle over to Jaye, who, stunned, allowed it to walk into his arms, where the dragon then yawned again and rested its head on Jaye.

Forest looked at her dragon again, not sitting. It was sleeping on her lap. "....Kiba...." Forest said, deciding on his name.

"Kiba and Shardis? I'm going with Fey" Bane said. Fey liked the name. She jumped up and down happily.

Damon said nothing. His dragon was still glaring at everyone. "Damon is close to Demon, and the dragon seems to hate everyone around. Why don't you call it Jevin?" Forest said sarcastically. "Works for me. Jevin." Damon said, serious.

((Jevin is pronounced Heaven))

Era cooed as her dragon wobbly stood up and hobbled to her. She pick it up and said "Aylin." Softly. Aylin liked it and blew a snort of air into her face. She giggled.

Kiba let out a low rumble sound then sneezed. Fire blew from his snout and almost hit the youngest half-brother. "Train that thing" he said. "Leave Kiba alone" Forest said, picking up the dragon. It went back to staring at Forest's eye.
Damon and Jevin stayed quiet.
Bane looked at Fey, who opened her mouth and just stared at him. She suddenly blew a small gust of air from her mouth, which made Bane laugh a bit.

Era giggled at Bane's dragon Fey. She was adorable, notas adorable as Aylin though. She cuddled Aylin close as he began snorting at Fey. It was a happy sound, yet it made Era worry. Would Bane notice my dragons affection for his? And then realize how I feel?

Fey lifted her head to Kiba and crawled over. She let out a small noise happily. Kiba looked over and kooed back. "I guess they already find each other as family?" Bane laughed. "Guess so" Forest said. Jevin crawled over and looked at them. He snorted fire. "Does this make him a free loader too?" Bane asked. "Who knows" Forest said.

"They hatched already?!" Sora said. She looked at her dragon then at Lomito's. "They are twins like us!" she laughed. "They did come from the same mother" Lomito said. "I wonder if Damon got one too?" Sora said happily. "We talked about names already right? Soar and Todo...wait, Damon?" Lomito asked. "Lets go find him!" Sora grabbed Soar and ran in one direction. "Wait!" Lomito grabbed Todo and followed.

"Kya." Jaye murmured decidedly. That wasn't going to be what he named his dragon, but when he had seen it... it didn't look liike anything else. "Yes. You're a Kya aren't you?" he said rhetorically, scratching it behind it's dragon ears like a dog, which, surprisingly, Kys liked. The dragon cuddled up in his arms cozily, and the affectionate emotions coming to Jaye surprised him. Rarely did he experience true emotion, and usually it wasn't affection.

Ashia watched Shardis as he tried to use his pair of slightly oversized wings. They wheren't actually strong enough to fly, but that didn't stop the beast from flapping vigorously. He hovered about a foot off the ground before his wings gave. He fell to the ground and gave a sort of moaning sound.
"Now aren't you the clumsy one?" Ashia asked as she righted him and brushed off some dirt.

"Personality IS based on the rider..." Jaye teased as he pet his Kya.

Kiba jumped to the ground. He spread out his wings, which helped him land softly. He sat beside Forest, looking at the other dragons with interest. They were not all like him. He stuck close to Forest's leg, more interested in the other dragons than the people around.

Jevin let out a small growl suddenly. He was bored. He jumped to the ground and looked around. He saw 2 small dragons that seemed to be running his way. Damon sighed. He guessed they belonged to someone close to him, though he didn't see anyone else behind the dragons. Soar and Todo ran over to Jevin and gave small chirps to him. He seemed uninterested though. Both of these dragons looked the same.

"Cute. Earth dragons." Bane said with a smile towards the two new comers. Fey snorted and blew air into Bane's face, unhappy that she wasn't getting the attention. She hopped down and went over to Aylin and Kiba, who had now come from beside Forest to investigate these other dragons.

"We lost them already?!" Lomito groaned unhappily. "Not my fault. They just ran off!" Sora said, looking around. There was no sight of their dragons. "This is bad. Very bad." Lomito said.

"Two more dragons?" Jaye asked, spotting the Earth beasts. "I wonder who the riders are."

"They're identical!" Ashia said, which cause Shardis to finally look toward the new beasts. Ashia hadn't met their riders, so Shardis acted on his own free will, not his riders opinion, when he clammered over to the new dragons. He sniffed them quickly, taking in their scents as he started forming an opinion. But then he let out whatever the dragon equivalent to a sneeze was, allowing a quick burst of flame to spring from his his mouth. Little lines of smoke drifted from his snout, and a charred smell surrounded him now. Ashia looked at the twin dragons, making sure they hadn't been burned. Luckily they had not and she lifted up her beast, carrying him back over to their original spot while cooing to it.
"Perhaps we should try to find the riders of the dragons?" she suggested to the group.
