I'm trying out for the Nightshade Egg, a Rune Dragon egg. If I won it, Seth would be this egg's bearer. So here's Seth and Nephthys, meeting for the first time.

Well, Seth looks like a very interesting character. So does his father. I'd love to know about this character and his family.

Ah, then I must direct you to the Rune Dragons.

Mbarim, Seth's father, is the Ancient Rune of Death. He was summoned by a young woman named Tessa, and the two became inseparable. They broke protocol and risked much disapproval by reproducing, and Seth was the result.

Seth's a weird hybrid of human and Rune, and unstable for it. While his father is peaceful and merciful, Seth is power-hungry and vindictive. He has estranged himself from his parents and makes his own way across Eldemore (Rune Dragon world), inciting violence and discontent. Currently, I'm trying to win the Nightshade Rune egg as a companion for him.

I hope that rather long-winded rant explained things. I would have PMed you, but this was so much more fun and I was scared that you'd find it invasive. If you'd like to continue this conversation, I am happy to do so. If this is what you wanted, that's cool too.

Oh, wow. It all sounds very interesting and quite cool, I must say. I also like how no one is what they seem. His father is the rune of death, yet is peaceful. And Seth is more sinister, even though his parents seemed very loving. I can respect that. Personal struggles and all that.

I'd love to say more but my mind isn't all that clear today and I feel I'm just rambling on.

This is amazing! I love how you focused your drawing on the eyes and the claws, it looks like the claws are rising up from the egg to hug him (maybe this wasn't your intention, and it wasn't what I saw right away, but after you explained your story about Seth, it all made the more sense, it's like the Rune Dragon within the egg is reaching out to him, and almost thanking Seth for taking her into his arms, embracing him!)
